Installed the Porsche sticker under the license plate..went with silver. Looks really subtle. Fixed my cargo shade with new pop rivets. New clock bulb...and new sear switch.

Painted a black fender red, and put it on. Quite happy with the result. Took three coats of white primer and two coats of red from walmart, and it matches almost perfectly to the rest of the car.

It's been a long easter weekend - I wrapped the header with exhaust wrap back to the centre muffler, and fabbed up a heat shield to mount on the two supports above the long water pipe on the exhaust side of the block.
Previously there was nothing there. Simple piece of aluminium plate, bent over in an L profile, painted with wrinkle black high temp enamel. The idea of this is to stop the heat just radiating straight up from the header and collecting under the hood.
Since adding the factory undertray I'd had problems with (I think) the lower universal joint on the steering shaft overheating and making the steering tougher to the point of not returning to centre when "hands off". Not good. Since wrapping the header and testing by trying to increase the exhaust temp as much as possible (!) it's been fine. Job done until proven otherwise.
I also finished up some trim pieces - leather horn trim (version 3 - after much fuss) finished and added. Retrimmed my almost prototipo in black lambskin.
Took it for several aimless but immensely fun drives in the process.
Still need to lower the car. Would love a factory-looking coilover solution for the front, and to be able to move the adjusters in the rear. Have tried lowering the car on a breaker to get them shifted. Going to go looking for kroil next as it's meant to to be the business.

guys,
consider by-passing your alarms.
your fried alarms (from getting wet for 25+ years) may be what's killing your dme's.
