Folks,

Rob (Rolex) may have different views, but it is customary to leave such threads open. The OP feels he has to post to get some response from the seller.

One of the benefits of Rennlist is that when things go wrong between buyer and seller, public disclosure of the facts often leads to a quick resolution.

I'd prefer if those making spurious comments show some patience and wait for facts to emerge.

Its not BS. Joska bought the car and had it delivered to my house.
Yes, it was and is on the east coast but the buyer is Joska.

Bob, what facts are you referring to, exactly? I haven't seen facts from the OP, only thinly veiled threats. I was under the impression the way to resolve this was via PM/e-mail/phone, then getting mods involved, THEN airing dirty laundry to the public masses.

Not saying you're wrong, but this thread is devoid of factual content as far as I can see.

EDIT: Raj is here with some facts, I stand corrected. Raj, I think most of the forum jumped to conclusions because there weren't (and still aren't many) facts as to what happened. If the facts had been presented right away, maybe we wouldn't have 4 pages of this. Not saying it's right, but it's what happened.

Guy's, the car is currently at my house. I would request everyone not draw judgement without knowing the facts. I am hoping for both parties sake that it gets resolved in an amicable manner. There is a lot of $$ at stake here.
I am sure details are not being shared because there is still hope that things get sorted out.

sounds like the buyer isnt releasing all the info because he wants too be a little more tactful than just running around bitching the whole time. seems like a pritty good guy too me. everyone here is just too picky and wants to call bull before ANY facts arise. calm down it seems like there figuring it out and that its none of our business.

My "BS" call was in reference to all the speculation. There's no place for that crap.

As for the OP, leaving an open ended post like that is questionable, IMO. Man up, get an attorney and settle it outside of the forums.

But that's just my opinion. Like I really care anyway...

My two cents, this should have been kept off line from the very beginning. I don't see any value to the community to bring this public 'after' the fact. So now that Pandora's box is open, where is this thread going to go? The buyer and seller need to discuss these issues via PMs or phone, and not to disclose any dealings publically. I see nothing positive coming out of this at all, and I will stand my ground on this one. My prediction? This thread is going to go on and on, and do 'nothing' but cause speculaton, defamatory remarks, and ignite drama. But let's see where this goes......

At a minumum there are issues. I agree, let them settle it offline.

I would have maintained my lurker status until I saw "stand up guy".

I was using BF as an abbreviation for Boost Fiend, not Best Friend.
