Did he think he was getting a REAL 968 Turbo S, not a replica?

Can we get some details from the buyer as to what he thinks is wrong with the car. Detailed pics would help.

So whats the problem with the car when it arrived? This is getting a bit tedious.

I swore to stay away after being called a shill earlier but the plot thickens. So what is the "Shawn shipped the car in absolute terrible condition" all about? It looks like the car I remember and always admired. This has to be the most confusing thread in years.
The buyer wants to return the car after what 'sounds' like a well documented sale. Was the car switched between here and the east Coast? What does terrible condition mean? Did the car not perform to the buyers standards? Is a rod knocking? Something is missing here.

That was not directed at you.

Of course one needs to be cautious in work and business, but I'd prefer to not have to treat my dealings on Rennlist as such. I think that's the whole purpose of this community.

I don't buy things from friends or family either, but you chose to overlook that this was not a real "friend" or "family" I bought my car from back in 2000. It was just a fellow enthusiast on Rennlist. When that meant something.

If anything, you've been on here long enough to remember what I was referring to, but I guess it's your prerrogative to ignore it and call me naive.

Shawn, like I said in my vm, I really don't want to be involved but now that you have posted this, I need to respond. Could you kindly word for word, post my message so people can see for themselves what I actually said and how you are making it sound. I think youtube would be a good place to host this.
Let people decide for themselves if I ever threatened you, your wife or unborn child.

Sweet car.... but wait... WTF...no center caps! What a POS!!! j/k j/k

Shawn, I noticed that it "looks" like the hood is open in one of the pics, maybe something happened during transport?

..and Congrats on the bouncing baby!!! Remember to buy enough diapers...then buy twice that!
