All I got was “Hi, goodbye, but don’t forget about us for all your future service needs!” Yeah sure pal, I’ll keep you on my list, the same as you have me on yours.

I feel very fortunate to have been one of the last to successfully configure PCCB's with my car. Might have been a deal breaker if I could not have. I always wanted the 18-ways for the heat and that's what I got.

How are you guys who were/are almost dead set on PCCBs and LWB dealing with the prospect of speccing a car, probably paying ADM, waiting forever, paying a ton of dough, only to not get the precise car you really want? Anyone holding off and waiting?

Personally, I tried the LWBS and didn't like them, after about an hour my back started to hurt, so it was always 18 ways for me.
I want the PCCB mainly for avoiding dust and the yellow calipers, but on the other hand, I would love to save the $9k, risk of them breaking and the squeeing - so I won't be sad at all if I won't get them, I will just paint the regular calipers.

My order got kicked back because the LWCB was on stop order. I had to change to the 18way. I am hugely disappointed, but the fact that I get to be the first/only owner of my car and spec the rest of it the way I want, makes up for the fact that I don't get LWCB.

I’m surprised the LWB are that much of a potential deal breaker. They’re nice but I don’t know that many people that think they are the more comfortable option.

The demand for LWBS has little to do with comfort. It's more about functionality (on track), aesthetic, resale value, and the idea that a GT car should have nothing less.

you need to keep in mind where we are. In a Rennlist forum opinions are skewed towards PCCBs and LWB.

waiting for when? These are the last of the allocations. Could wait for an electric with buckets and PCCBs.

Have you owned a Porsche equipped with their 18-Way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus?

I have not; however, I'm familiar enough with the 18-Way seat to understand why there's a preference for the LWBS.

Jim D,

I did order the 18-way seats and for my use on the STREET they are the $hit !!!

On that Super Quick trip I made to San Antonio, Texas which was over 2,600 miles I cannot imagine having the LWB seats.
Or when I did the 2,000 Porsche recommended "Break-in-Miles" I did in 1-week.
It all comes down honestly to APPLICATION.

Have you ever driven a Porsche equipped with 18-Way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus? And "preference?" Who's preference? Yours? Can you please substantiate that with specific delivery data of the 718 GT4/Spyder equipped with LWBS versus those without?

I've owned two Porsches equipped with the 18-Way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus...a 991.2 911 Turbo S and a 718 Spyder. While the LWBS are beautiful seats and perform brilliantly on the track, they're not for everybody. Accordingly, my "preference" is for the 18-ways. I love them!
