Go forward until you reach M numbers
Scroll down the page to 268 Rain Sensor and tick the “Changed” box
Go forward to the last page and write the changes by pressing F8
Go back to the Overview Screen.
Press Ctrl+A to select all control modules
Go to Coding>Automatic Coding, and start. It takes 3-4 minutes

The snag is that if you have done any coding in Engineering mode, automatic coding will wipe it.
appreciate the color here. Unfortunately I didn’t do any of the coding myself so I’m unsure if anything was coded in engineering mode. What sorts of vehicle changes are typically done in that mode?

2 guesses, either you need to create a track, or be at a track already in the database.

And you need gps locked, so this won't work I'm the garage.

I think then it will allow you to connect or start a run.

Wrong thread guys!

@edub and @vosadrian this is not the correct thread for this, there is a Track Precsion App thread, let's continue this over there as it is not a discussion about PIWIS coding.

Default PIWIS to ready egr/vvt monitor

Any PIWIS expert know how to force vvt monitor to set with PIWIS? I heard there is way to set vvt/egr monitor through PIWIS. My 2016 991 gts has issue with incomplete egr/vvt monitor for upcoming CA smog check. Every other sensors are ready except vvt/egr. I did try every possible drive cycles and now only hope is PIWIS. It seems common issue with these cars and don't want to unnecessary visit to stealer.

I used Engineering Mode to code your cluster. As stated above, to enable the rain sensor, you will need to code in Engineering Mode.

Would be great if OPF monitoring can be disabled by coding.

I have looked around and it doesn't seem like there is any OPF delete in EU cars.

You may check the available options in post #647 "Abgaskonzept" whether they disable OPF monitoring.

Is there a possibility to change the throttle response via PIWIS? I am new with a 718 Spyder and the characteristic reminds me very much of the 987.2 in sport mode. I would like it to be less degressive, more linear.

I never noticed a difference coming from my last 981. quite used to it and it seems fine to me.. I don't notice it being degressive. You mention being new to the 718, maybe just need some settling in time?

Hi,

I am Anthony with 9XX Research, and we specialize in uncharted territories. If many others have tried and cannot complete something perfectly, we will finish the job. This time around, we are introducing:

Matrix LED Full Activation for 992, Cayenne, Panamera $700 ($500 for first 5 from Rennlist)
Matrix LED Full Retrofit for 992, Cayenne, Panamera (Yes RETROFIT) $0 labor only for the first car that qualifies, plus the cost of new OEM parts directly ordered from Stuttgart via 9XX, cost of travel, meals, and accommodations only for two 9XX engineers. This offer is valid for only models that had Matrix LED available as an option but was not selected at the time of ordering. The $0 labor is limited to 1 day of work. This is a 9XX Experience offer so all 9XX Experience rules will apply.
First RETROFIT will have 1 year OEM parts and labor warranty. We have our own Porsche Official inspectors to check our products upon entry to US soil to guarantee authenticity. Parts from any other sources will not be accepted so please do not ask.

Taycan $900 (coming in September)

Free gift for all: Comfort windows and sunroof w/Matrix LED activation.

Recoding (if needed after a dealer visit) $200 for all models

9XX Research is an Official Porsche Partner, ID# DDA2197. We strictly follow Porsche protocol on equipment standards, and therefore no remote sessions will be offered for Matrix LED Activation. We will visit you during our USA touring schedule, and we are fully equipped to recover your car from damaged codes done by others.

Recovery of full function $2000
Required if erroneously programmed by a non-Porsche partner prior.
(e.g., Homelink damage by erroneous Matrix LED coding by third party other than 9XX or Porsche Service Center)
