Trust me, if you had any CXX options you’d know. Google up Porsche Special Wishes.

Each one would be the result of careful coordination between you, your dealer, and PCNA. The approval process and cost is quite long/high.

An example would be changing the Spyder black interior to Ascot Brown.

Looks like you and I are going to miss each other by about a week. I'm there on the 6th.

No joke. Infinite patience while I was seeking an allocation and now I'm bouncing off the walls. It's been less than a week, and it doesn't arrive until June.

Well it’s official, the new baby is home. Picked up from the detailer with PPF and ceramic coating last night. AND right on schedule we got 3” of snow overnight with 1-3” predicted for today and another 1-3” predicted tomorrow. So no “glamour” shots for a while. The best I can do is a picture at the detail shop.

So back to lurking around until the sun shines in Chicago, when I’ll be turning money into noise.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Nice! Hope to see around PCA cars and tots next weekend. My car sits on port processing. As you mentioned, slushy weather in Chicago. I have winter tires from my 991, may mount those.

Aw too bad. The 13th was the first available time they had for me. I'm excited that I have a set date for pickup finally. Much easier to know when I'm getting the car than thinking I might get delayed for whatever reason.

There is a chance I might make it. With 90 miles on the clock I just can’t drive it in snow and salt. Yet. But any excuse to drive it doesn’t take a lot of convincing.

And, there are too many idiots on the road. Especially after the first snow.

Even in the dry I feel like I’m social distancing, kind of like my first club race.

I swapped tires on the same set of wheels for a long time. I bought a second set for the 992 bc porsche hoarded all the Alpin 5 production in late '19 (rear 21 was very difficult to find). I dont know which is worse, carrying the wheels from the basement and installing them myself or carrying the tires in the other car to costco to install the winters, vice-versa in the spring. It seems I'll be returning to the latter. As long as the snow is not too high it should be fine.

I feel like a minority here with a recent new allocation from last Friday (Spyder) for a March build. Not too many allocations these days and I feel like not many to come either - so I'm very fortunate.

Anyone else just got in? I'm still pinching myself

I haven't received my TYD intro email yet, so called the 1800 number yesterday, they said they would get it initiated and I should be receiving it within a few days.

congrats on the allocation! They definitely do seem a lot more rare now. Got a build code to share?

Thanks!
I didn't want to pay an ADM and was #1 next in line on an MSRP allocation with a dealership but when they reported only getting 1 GT4 allocation last week, and were not expecting any more for 2023 I jumped on an allocation that popped up here on Friday.
I initially had quite a few more options added to the build previously but removed about 10k worth last week when I realized I'd be paying an ADM... and this is where I landed: PP83DAX5
