i had the cup 2’s on my Evora GT and really liked them. So I was excited to see that my Spyder would most likely get them. I’m happy to hear that the Dunlop’s are comparable.
What I've always liked about Dunlops is that they last a long time. I had a set of the Direzza Z3 on my S2000 and they lasted through 2 years of autocross and mountain driving.
Anyone care to critique my build? Anything stupid I added or obvious I missed. I think after months of looking I finally understand what everything actually is and looks like but it's Porsche so who knows.
It is Ruby Star! Will likely be the only 718 GTS in Ruby Star proper, seeing as RS Neo is a special color now.
Nice spec. I think your RS is extra special on the non-GT car. And for interior...what did you do there? (Maybe Chalk based on photo--or maybe that's the seat protectors)
Uh oh, bad news, hope not many others are "in the same boat", so to speak...
Day of TYD-official (June 2022), delivery date was 11/18
Since then, the delivery date has changed to 12/23, then 12/16...
And finally today (2022/11/11), the day it is supposed to get onto a ship, the delivery date changes to... 2023/01/06... 🤬😭
Anyone else also have their delivery date of 12/16 postponed to 2023/01/06? UuuUUUUUuuUUUUuUUgh.....
Same here. As of Thursday, TYD was showing 'On Vessel' 11/11with dealer delivery on 12/2. Now showing on 'on vessel' of 11/25 with a dealer delivery date of 12/16. I'm outside of Philadelphia.

Thanks! Black leather/racetex interior, black brushed aluminum trim. I would've loved a brown interior but sadly LWBs in the GTS constrain you to just black and no deviated stitching

I would drop 4 items: Headlight Cleaning in Ext. Color; Fusebox in Leather; Auto Dim Mirrors, Door Trim Pkg in Leather.
I would add: White Chrono face to your Chrono (it will stand out nicely on the black dash and go well with your painted trim); 2 Zone Climate (it's an excellent, and easy-to-set system--I had the base system in a 2017 Boxster--disliked everything about the interaction and felt like I could never get the temperature right.)

Exciting you have a build slot.
I didn't get auto dim mirrors and wish I did. Don't drop those, they're actually functional! I'd rather have auto dim mirrors over a white clock.

Thanks for sharing your build. I have some thoughts I can share. All selections are personal preference and there's no "right way" to build these cars. With that said, a few considerations:
• Remove XUB Headlight Cleaning System Covers Painted in Exterior Color. The standard black color is not offensive and offers a nice contrast on most colors in the palette.
• Remove XWN Preparation for Porsche Dashcam (Front). It's a new option for MY23 and it's not clear if it will work with aftermarket options with little to no modification. I mention this because I would opt out of the Porsche unit and look aftermarket if I absolutely needed this option.
• Take a closer look at the color options on the interior. You have (1) EKA Interior Trim Painted in Exterior Color i.c.w. Leather Interior, (2) CHL Climate Control Panel Painted, (3) 887 Steering Wheel with 12 O'Clock Marker in Yellow, (4) Leather/Race-Tex Interior in Black with Yellow Stitching, (5) XHN Seat Belts in Racing Yellow, and (6) Fuse Box Covers in Leather in Racing Yellow. There's an incredible amount of yellow here and then you have 509 Fire Extinguisher in red. This is certainly personal preference but accents or hints are more stylish and sophisticated in my humble opinion and less is more. Yellow also doesn't pair well with Chalk.
• Add Wheels Painted in Satin Black and Door Handles in High Gloss Black. You already ticked the box for XBS Brake Calipers in High Gloss Black which I like. The black bits will contrast very well with Chalk.
• Add 2-Zone Automatic Climate Control. This was a late addition for me. I had an M3 CS that did not have 2 zone and it was fine. It's a nice creature comfort and the interface with it looks better. I know the blank buttons if I did not tick the box would ultimately annoy me.
• Add XNS Steering Column Case in Leather. Not a showstopper but it certainly looks better with all the leather everywhere else.
• Add 9VL Bose Surround Sound System. This is a polarizing selection and Bose is no pot of gold but it's head and shoulders better than the standard Porsche audio system. I also recall reading the Bose system makes it "easier" to upgrade to the Burmester tweeters if you decide to go that route.
I don't recall Chrono being optional when I built my 22 Spyder. Was it? What is in that spot on the dash if no Chrono? I'm not sure I've ever seen one that way.
