Yeah probably just business as usual. Hoping it doesn’t trigger a change in some pre-approved options due to supply constraints. CXX stuff now shows (as a basic line-item, anyways) on my Porsche Code as well.

Officially joining the waiting room! Should be picking up my CGTS from the PEC Atlanta in a couple of months! In the meantime, I'll put in my time here hanging out with you all.

Full specs of my order are here: https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-...4-0-build.html

I was supposed to be on it, my car made it to the port and was on track to get onto the ship but now my TYD is saying 2 weeks later for delivery, and not loading onto a ship for another 2 weeks, so I assume I missed the Glovis.

I am in California and just recently got the idea to buy a GT4. I want to take delivery in September-October 2023 , not sooner , and very much want the ED. Reading some of the recent comments in this thread and others, I struggle to understand how should I approach this. Should I just sit tight and start calling around much closer to my preferred delivery date or put a deposit ASAP expecting many months before getting an allocation? So far I just stopped by one dealer in SoCal and they have $40K ADM. That’s just nonsense IMO, but I am used to SoCal dealers no matter what brand doing this kind of stuff and I shop for new cars nation wide. I will most likely won’t pay more than $10K of mark up if any. I want LWB and PCCB, the rest is optional.

We did ED for wife’s Macan S in September 2014. This was the last and only Porsche that we purchased. She still drives it. Great car. I also put my name on the list for 981 GT4 in January 2015 at Porsche North Houston, in June of that year I asked to be dropped off the list as we were expecting our first child by that time, then to my surprised I got a call that I had an allocation in October 2015, but I had to pass with heavy heart.. I closed my eyes on all things Porsche from that moment.. My son is now 7 and I am back!

Short answer, got some bad news for you…GT4s are much harder to get these days. Especially when GT4 production ends June 2023. Basically paying ADM is the only way to go. Oh and no LWB, PCCB and most likely no ED available.

It is quite possible there is a scheduling problem with berth or shore workers to unload the ship.

I know this has been covered before, but I can't find it... Where do you find the production photos within "My Porsche"? My Father in law's car is already on the ship, and he didn't sign up for "My Porsche" until after the car was already finished, so he didn't see the production photos. Is it still possible to get them?

And super excited the Siem Confucius made it to Halifax! It's getting closer!

There are two methods.
1st- On the MY PORSCHE page, go to "Discover Current Phase" page.... scroll down a little and you will see 3 of 4 photos available to download.
2nd- Follow the link below for the step by step procedure to access all 4 Photos - the last photo that I couldn't see on the MY PORSCHE page was the completed car (see my avatar as an example) - The steps in order to retrieve the photos is very very simple. Also, if they're not available through this method, then you wont have photos to extract.

HOW TO:

Awesome for you guys!

The Siem Confucius was on its maiden vehicle when it brought my Spyder came to Canada back in July of 2020.
