where did you find that information on the developer tab?
I clicked on the current step (in production) under TYD page. Then F12, network and as I scrolled down there's the VIN.
Sorry if the picture is reversed.
I checked VIN analytics and it matches, as well as adding a new vehicle under overview (no proof of purchase, so it won't go anywhere). MyCarfax worked to add the car that is not even ready...
All in all, not that useful info. I guess I could quote insurance, not that you really need a VIN. Maybe some hardcore fans can get a tattoo, but I would wait until the car arrive.
How long are the delays to get on the boat from emden?
Seems to depend. Some go on in a couple days, others in a week. Mine sat on the dock for over a month before going RORO.
And, that ship went thru the Panama Canal to San Diego instead of going to RI. Now, sitting in SD waiting to be trucked across
country to CONNECTICUT ! Makes no sense. Other vehicles have been produced more recently, and have arrived in RI, and
elsewhere before mine. Odd stuff.

They must have been so backed up in Emden to pump the cars out to any open boats (including sending it to the west coast)!

That stinks! My TYD map showed my car being shipped to California and then coming back to Jacksonville, FL, but that was just a TYD stupid glitch, the ship unloaded my car in Jacksonville. That's got to be costing Porsche more money, and for that reason it really makes no sense. I hope you get it shipped back quickly and safely!

Yes ... makes little sense. My 1st car was on a ship that sailed into a storm, "became unhooked" and was totaled ! That was in April / May (I forget since this has been going on for some time). The 4.0 BGTS was "remade" and is now in San Diego. It's been there since Sept 4th. Waiting to get a truck / driver to haul it across the entire nation to Connecticut. Maybe this week, or next? Who knows. No word from the SA / dealership. They seem clueless anyway.
Going over what's hidden on the developer tab, I could find the actual status (V260) and the VIN number.
I figured I should spend more time poking around in the dev view. Sure enough, the "pvms" information is all right there in the code on the TYD page. I found this very unscientifically by clicking through the VIN codes in the network tab after hitting F5 from the actual TYD page.
I've been getting sad umbrella man all morning. Car is supposed to be scheduled for production tomorrow with production starting on the 23rd. Hopefully no delays.

If you're talking about the SFL Conductor, it was actually March, though it seemed like it took weeks for dealers to even figure out what had happened so you may not have found out until April. Mine was wrecked on that ship too.
