Keep us posted if it works, and which method worked best please. Getting my BGTS soon and definitely want to remove those decals.

P-car, how long does it take for rail to get across Canada? Hopefully not as long as mine will take to debark Houston. Maybe there's a "canadianrailtraffic.com??

Got word today that my Spyder is on the Bishu Highway, docking in Jacksonville around 7/30. Delivery is currently listed at 10/1, with the long wait attributed to EPA certification on 2022 model year cars. Here’s to hoping the testing and paperwork gets finalized quicker than anticipated.

good thinking on the sun visors but do all of the US sun visors get those horrible airbag stickers. I would hate to pay extra for leather and have that crap on there. I usually buy European visors after without the air bag stickers and then swap them out.
I am in the Houston area. And yes I am sure they come with thiose stupid stickers. Where are you located?

It's *you* who is slowing down the marinetraffic.com website when I hit refresh... the ship is stopped, waiting for a tanker to clear the harbour and for the pilot boat to then take in a container ship. Might be awhile. It's important that others don't think that it us Canadians slowing down the delivery! ;-)

P.S. I'm driving my brother (not P-Car) crazy with updates. He has asked me to cease and desist.

I never thought about this until now. I have a close friend that is a Houston Pilot. Once the ship gets near, there is a possibility he could be driving the ship into port!

People report 10-21 days. It depends on trains available at the time of unloading. One fellow Vancouverite just took delivery last week of his Spyder and he reported that his car came by Semi-trailer which might be faster. Apparently sports cars sometimes come by road.

Default DIY for decal removal

Since a few expressed interest, I removed my visor decals today.
Requirements: 91% IPA, some paper towels, two supermarket plastic bags, and a larger trash bag(or two).

To start, the interior is black over Bordeaux, so while the red areas are leather, the black appears to be man made. I tested the visor with some rubs of paper towel soaked in IPA and no color came off, so i was reasonably confident that they were IPA friendly. I looked at the construction of the visor and came to the conclusion that it might be more trouble than its worth to remove them.

I placed the larger trash bag over my seat(s) in case some alcohol dripped down

I generously soaked three layers of select-a-size bounty and wrapped it to the underside of the visor, over the top as tight as I could. The process could be better is you taped the bag but i was lazy. After somewhere between 5 & 10 minutes I removed the bag and towel and picked at a corner and gently removed the complete decal. If it comes off in pieces, you were too impatient.

The decal left a slightly sticky ghost on the visor, and after a few swipes of the soaked towel, I removed the stickiness, but still had a slight ghost. Still way better than the white and yellow warnings.

Are you talking 6-12 months for an allocation or a car? Forgive my confusion.
This is a GT4/Spyder/GTS thread. What car are you on the wait list for? Is it a Boxster/Cayman GTS or a GT4/Spyder? There is a HUGE difference in the wait time between those two possibilities.

GTS you’ll probably have to wait no more than a couple of months for an allocation. GT4/Spyder will be a lot longer.
