Mine goes into production on Friday 30th right before the august break. You know the saying, cars built on Fridays were always great (or maybe it’s the opposite of that? Lol), I wonder about cars built on a Friday before a massive holiday with no room for error for time.

Most cars are built in under a day. I know the BMW X3 we bought last year took under 18 hours. Their web site is very cool and lets you see the stages that the car is in. They started building the car on a Monday and we had it in our hands on Friday! Of course, it's built in South Carolina and not Germany, but still. Fast.

Zhao, You might want too check in with your SA for an update. Our BGTS 4.0 was also scheduled to start on July 30 but when I checked with my SA this morning I was pleasantly surprised to find out it entered body shop on the 14th, 2 weeks earlier than we expected! ... hopefully this means we'll beat the August shutdown.

Tell me about it! I'm already Dundon headers, JCR Silenced Valved, and DBJ aero in. This weekend will be figuring out control arms & camber stuff. Trying to hold off on Motion Control and AP racing until I actually drive my car...

I just checked with mine, and there are no changes. It was pushed back until after the August holiday a month ago, so guess that I should be happy it wasn’t pushed back further. August 30th remains as my production date.

Good evening All,

Thrilled to say that I can officially say I'm at V200 for a Spyder. Actually, I hit V200 on the 8th but only recently got the V status screen shot. My spec locks 24.09 with delivery estimated for early Nov. I've got my spec 90% there with decisions left to be made on stitching colour and what some, including me, might call frivolous options. Plenty of time to sort out but ideally I'd like to have my final spec entered in the system within the next week or so.

My current 718 BGTS goes back to my OPC in a weeks time so I'll be without a P car for a bit. However, I think this will make the delivery of the new one a bit more special.

Now to figure out exactly how many more sleeps I have

Interesting, you got V200 on July 8th but don't lock until Sep 24th, then delivery about 6 weeks later. Very interesting indeed. I can't wait to see mine to compare notes.

Mine was supposed to go V260 on 7/16. Didn’t happen. My SA is on vacation and I don’t want to bother him but he said it moved back to 7/23 as well. I will probably ping him tomorrow because I can’t stand it. Shark Blue Spyder.
