So the dealer had an allocation in house with a mid Aug build lock and Nov delivery, SA said they were going to build a GT4 to bring into the showroom. I gave a deposit earlier in the week and submitted my order and she sent back a build sheet with a V200 status. Maybe Im missing or misunderstanding the process? This is my first Porsche order

Congrats my friend. It is amazing how close in DNA the GT4 is to the Spyder. But holy hell......a Spyder makes me weak in the knees. That is a beautiful car!!! I love the aggressive stance of the GT4 and almost bought one because of it. But man.....the Spyder is pure beauty. A rolling work of art. I can't wait!!! Again....Congratulations!!!!

I stopped by PECLA today to buy a gift for a friend and saw this Spyder in the workshop. Maybe it belongs to someone here 🤔

Looking for help on where to get on the waitlist for a GT4 Allocation for a buddy.
He's in Northern UT, but will go anywhere.
Lehi Porsche wanted $5,000k non-refundable just to get on the wait list for allocation... Buddy was willing to do that(I wouldn't) since he's all in on getting one. But he then found out they are $10k over MSRP.
Any help on where he should call/look?

Congratulations! A little sneak peak before the delivery ceremony, but I hope I didn’t spoil anything. I was just excited to see a Spyder.

All good man. Actually, I asked Charles from PECLA to send me photos of pdi and during transportation , and he agreed on the condition that no photos will be revealed before the delivery lol. So you are doing me a favor, thanks again. I cannot wait to picking it up tomorrow. That car just looks so perfect.

Right. My first choice was British Racing Green. But I think in the long run, gt silver will be the winner, it is just timeless.

Like, serious lottery win...congrats! I put in my demand build order back in March, got my allocation on April 1st, and am locking the 19th, building starting in September with the August shutdown and then delivery at the end of October...you just skipped the worst 4 months of waiting. LOL

So, I got on my local dealerships waiting list on 6/18 and still don't have an allocation and was told check back at the end of the month. Is this normal? Should I be looking to get an allocation elsewhere?
I've been patient because they told me as a prior customer I would be number one on their list, but honestly I expected an allocation by now.

My Spyder went v300 today! Checked in with my SA as it was supposed to enter body shop today. Instead I was pleasantly surprised to find it was finished early with an estimated 10days shaved off my final delivery date 😎
