Just heard a great kline video. Supposedly no worse drone than stock? This is with just OAP and backbox, or oyu gotta get catbacks?
You folks going to cost me $$$$!

With Kline OAP+muffler +VC, I don't find drone with valves open, but there is slight acceptable resonance at 2500rpm. I'm sure If you run with factory VC there'd be no resonance at all. I am sensitive to drone, and my Kline OAP+muffler +VC is a very acceptable level. I found OEM +VC is borderline drone at 2500 and trying Soul R-OAP's fixed that.

It sounds like a race car and the tone is amazing. It sounds terrific, no drone and I gained some burbles and an awesome downshift sound...when I want. Otherwise it can be relatively docile and keep a low profile... it definetelly became more perky both because of sound and weigh loss.

If any of you going after power only, dundon is the way to go ..valve factor operation and rear muffler are must.
No drone no resonance..like zero but there’s but here !!
The system wake-up after 3500rpm ..it’s sharp sound…to hear it scream you have to keep rev to red line it can’t be run valve fully open..if you force the valve open all the way it might make a hole in the ear lol.

I have personally beat the tone topic to death . . . the OEM rear box tone is 'good,' but the consequence of chasing better is unbearable drone. Akra rear box is built like the OEM rear box and, as expected, provides no tone improvement for $8K in new metal. I would pay for the Akra tips if they fit the OEM rear box.
Contrary to your preference, holding the valves open is a must for ME. WAY too quiet with the valves closed and the transition from valves closed to open is terrible . . . from nothing to 'screaming' is not in keeping with the linear climb of the NA flat6.

I hate vale OEM..it's like a bug in the system..that's why I kept Kline. you can live with it vavle forced open all the time with no issue..
Dundon was too much loud for me when the valve was forced open.
