Has anyone found an exhaust solution they absolutely love?

We have drawings of the RS exhaust and it’s completely different to the 718 GT4 / Spyder system. Much improved in the headers and OAP area but the rear silencer still leaves a lot to be desired.
Stock exhaust is still steel, bar the tips
We have already started with preliminary development on our direct replacement titanium rear

This....the "Y" diverter is now on the muffler, not the OAP.
Also the secondary O2 is on the OAP just before the GPF.
Connection between OAP and muffler is a single triangular shape flange with 3 bolts. Should be easier to swap OAP on this one.
The cutout drawing from Porsche shows that the muffler has similar design to the one in the GT4...the valve open path dumps into each side without gas mixing.
I have a feeling this system can be further improved....

Wow! Best sounding system I’ve heard via video.
Are you still happy with your choice after a year later? Anything you would change now that you’ve had time to reflect?
Thank you so much for posting.

I agree on you and I would add that Cargraphic is one of the few companies (if not the only one) that provide as many setups needed to meet every customer desires, but always respecting the signature Porsche sound, and even their components looks like OEM ones. Some of their setups are focused on zero drone and others to enhance the sound.
I have sitting, an Akrapovic OAP, waiting for the Cargraphic Racing X pipe muffler to arrive and then try out both. My aim is a high pitched "wail" sound, like the video below, which by the way is not an 981 alike sound, is more like an mezger engine GT3 sound. Well if I succeeded at my first attempt then I will be in heaven. I am also betting on that the mix chamber of this muffler will mute most of the drone when valves are closed.
Another important thing that I really appreciate from Cargraphic is that, even in their most extreme setup, they mention that they develop this to maintain the brand's signature sound, which is great!. I also think that Cargraphic doesn't receive much attention in the States because you have a bunch of local manufacturers there, and from that bunch there's two properly engineering companies, Soul and Dundon, but that is... the rest are a no no for me (sadly from previous experience).
So If I didn't had to deal with the EU band straps mount version in my exhaust, probably I would have opted for the less expensive Soul X Pipe. I also want to kudos the Obsessed Garage guy for all of his experiments, they have been key to make my mind of which system has the best chance to be spot on with what I'm seeking.
Finally just a thought about the valve controller, I love the Cargraphic approach, but as time passes by, I think that the OEM controller is just fine. As I have the controller already installed I think that I will keep it there, but I would say that if you will do an OAP and/or muffler, is not necessary to install an exhaust controller.
Anyway I will report once everything get installed, for now my target is this sound:

I'm considering the same SOUL OAP GPF delete plus a Cargraphic exhaust valve controller on a Spyder. Are you still pleased with your SOUL OAP-only modification a year later? Have you subsequently installed an exhaust valve controller? The various Youtube audio of the SOUL OAP GPF delete mod sounds beautiful...plus it'd be a fairly easy "next step" to add the SOUL valved exhaust system if for some reason I felt that was necessary.
SOUL says they have the 718 4-liter OAP's in-stock. The current wait for the SOUL valved exhaust system is seven weeks according the rep I spoke with.

It’s been a year and 10000 miles, to include PCA Parade and back.
Just to rehack my reference point I had a 987 Spyder with PSE, so understand the desire for that flat 6 wail.
Yes, still have just the Soul OAP GPF delete and no valve controller.
Unlike many I’m good with the stock valve programming. 5000/3800 in 1/2 and 3-last. When I’m out carving it’s usually always in 3rd and above 3800. In town or maintenance driving happy to keep closed.
I don’t sense drone, but others report drone when opened 2-3000 rpms.
My recommendation get rid of the GPF and go from there.
I enjoy the 4.0 separate bank guttural howl, more should embrace it.

Thanks very much for responding. I think I'm going to start there. On a separate note, a more fundamental question regarding the many exhaust system modifications I've been reading about here: do they require any sort of ECU re-programming/re-tuning if used to replace the OEM Porsche headers, OAP or back box?

Same question regarding your Cargraphic exhaust valve controller...did you install it?
EDITED: I don't see a SOUL ceramic coated option for the 718 Spyder...just the basic SS OAP option. Am I missing something??

Did you install your SOUL OAP's and valved exhaust yourself, or have a shop do the work? I've watched a few videos on the SOUL install and other than the studs it doesn't sound terribly difficult. Famous last words...I know...

Acquired my 2021 PDK GT4 with 2k miles on it, added SOUL OAP, and now at 10k miles, it’s beyond glorious how it sounds, about 3k rpm it starts to howl and shifting about 5-6k rpm, it makes an awesome growl/pop sound, hard to describe sound, and I swear the sound it makes has gotten better and better the longer I drive it. Don’t need anything else.
ps, I did add titanium heat wrap
