WOW! All JCR right? This I would like to hear in person, part of me wants to add the headers but I am worried it might be a bit over the top sound wise! right now I have the same rear section and Akra link pipes...

Question, I noticed this on your car, always wondered what the 2 studs were for on the support bracket on the passenger side, what is it holding?

Great question and can't remember when putting the system on. The headers make a huge change to the power and torque.

I figured that the headers would add a lot, I am just a little concerned for the volume level and warranty considerations. given the numbers Jonny posted I'll bet the increases are very obvious!

I just received my silenced valved JCR for my Spyder yesterday.
Installed it last night along with the Dummy GPF Delete OAP DIY. The sound is perfect!!! Just the right levels of noise inside, and an unbelievable amazing sound outside (had the wife drive it down the road so that i can hear it unrecorded).
Couldn't be happier with the outcome.

For me it's: JCR silenced valved with the Dummy GPF Delete OAP DIY, at least for now.

Maybe I missed it in the recent thread, but do you have any videos or clips of the silenced OAPs? I'd love to hear this setup as I'm leaning towards the silenced OAPs and most people just have the standard or other variants of them. Lovely setup there!

Almost four months to the day I finally got my full Akrapovic exhaust (link pipes plus muffler) installed. The muffler has been on a couple of months but I put the link pipes on Saturday night.

Finally happy with the sound of my 718 GT4. Aside from cold start/emissions mode being obnoxiously loud now, the car sounds great. It is completely tame at idle and cruise, but if you put your foot in and leave it in it sounds fantastic!

Big thanks to Supreme Power for getting the Arka link pipes in the hands of U.S. consumers. And for hooking me up with the Akra muffler with a whopping 25 miles on it for a great discount.

I have the same full Akra setup on my 718 Spyder, and I was just thinking how great it sounds during my drive this weekend. I also had a great sounding 981 Spyder with Fabspeed catted headers and the oem pse in the rear. But honestly, I like the sound of the 718 better. None of the fake sounding pops on overrun, which is the one thing I didn't like about the 981 system. Many have said that the 981 sounds better, but with the Akra system, I am happier with my 718 Spyder sound.

I need more time with my 718 before deciding. Suspect I'll lean towards my 981 GTS and GT4 though. But even if the 718 doesn't eclipse the old GTS/GT4 at least I'm happy with the sound now.

I installed the Soul OAP and left the valves open and it sounds very droney to me. Do you think by getting a valve controller or leaving the stock PSE will make it better?

The Akra system truly sounds good! I now don’t even engage the PSE button anymore! With PSE off it sounds fantastic and loud enough to my taste all the time.
the other day I got a 911T as a loaner when I dropped my Spyder for service and what a contrast. It had a garbage sound. That made me appreciate and love my Spyder with the Akra system even more.

I have reached the same conclusions, the 981 fake pops and fart on overrun had to go, I had a 3.4 981 with Fabspeed Cat-back and one with PSE, IMHO the 718 with the right system sounds much better!
