Kline 718 GT4/Spyder exhaust

Agree. Kline is probably the most well rounded complete system for this car. JCR is higher pitched but you pay for it with drone. Soul is very loud and low rumbling tone like a power boat and is not appealing whatsoever (Akro in the same boat). Call Eric at @SupremePower and he will hook you up!

I got my Kline OAPs and rear section (inconel) installed yesterday, with the valves locked open and the vacuum lines plugged - the tone is magnificent, especially as you build the RPMs above 4 or 5K RPMs. It really does scream at 8K - I hopped onto the toll road and went to 8K through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and it sounds really really good....I was laughing a lot to myself like a kid would.
To those worried about "too much" volume, I can say that this setup is pretty tame at lower RPMs, from inside the cabin at least. My lady claims she could hear when I turned into our neighborhood, but no idea if she really can. I have a Spyder, and have only put about 50 miles on the exhaust, but I perceive 0 drone so far (top down). It also might be just a touch more quiet (?!?!) than the stock setup when you're cruising around in 7th gear, which definitely surprised me...with that being said, it wakes up quickly. Oh, and thankfully the stock "boomy-ness" when you let off the throttle is completely gone.
I would say this is a true Jekyll and Hyde type of situation - tame when you want it to be, and nasty during spirited driving.

I'm about to embark on my Kline DIY install journey. I plan to document the step-by-step process on video. I'll be using Jeff Jones' script as my guide, so thanks in advance for that. If you want to follow along, you can do so here.
I will plug the vacuum lines with Flat6 caps. Just one question... do I have to then do anything to the Kline valves to lock them open or is open their default position?
Thank you.

I got my stainless steel delivery today, and also have Jeff’s instructions printed and ready to go (Jeff, it looks like you need 4 M8x125 nuts for the cross bar that goes from the stock box to the Kline, because the nuts are trapped in the stock box metal work).
The quality is top notch as far as I can tell, beautiful welds and even the valve plunger is pretty . Not sure when I’m going to try installing, maybe Sunday or the following weekend. I feel pretty prepared now, and I think I’m done asking everyone questions back channel
Valve closed chamber on the left
Flash light in valves open, you can see connection to chamber
Gasket
Sexy plunger
Welds
System

So I have the full Kline inconel system including headers with 200 cel cats. Twice now I have gotten a CEL stating that emissions exceeded threshold or something to that effect. Easily cleared with a $50 handheld from Amazon. However, it is a PITA and I don't like random CELs popping up.
Anyone experience this with the catted headers? Is there a spacer or other such trick to avoid CELs?
