Front License Plate Options

I understand. Sorry I missed that before. Since it's NH I didn't even think you'd want to take the plate off.
I guess for me the next best method is the rare-earth magnet method that has been used by some. No holes, and nothing attached to the front of the bumper. That to me is the ideal from the aesthetic perspective but requires removal of the bumper to attach.
Your attachment looks good but I worry that the weight of the plate & plate carrier will over time and bumps cause the threads to deform, with the end result being the screws torn out of the bumper. I'm just a pessimist at heart & I hope that doesn't happen!

Looking at this picture, it is going to be annoying to remove/insert the pins the way you have this set up.
Also, I prob would have waited to get it on the car first and then confirm where you want to mount the plate in relation to the tow hook screw. You might want to change the location a little depending on how it lines up with the bumper. Just my 2 cents having had this mount before.
FWIW, I also finally received mine in the mail from USM. Same model you have here.

Day 4 of Spyder ownership and I got a $65 "no front plate" ticket in downtown Manhattan. I had parked the car on the street for 30 minutes as they had painted the asphalt in front of the parking garage that I use, and was waiting for it to dry so I could park underground.
Would love to get the magnetic mount, but it seems too much of a chore to remove the entire bumper. Will probably buy a quick-release tow-hook mount from USM.

I need to figure this out in the next couple of days, no point in paying 'extra' to drive the car because of tickets.

Silly question but does anybody actually have a picture of what the car looks like WITH the front plate on because everybody is so against it, I can't seem to find any pictures with a front plate? Also, I'm referring to a picture with a front mounting bracket using the one supplied from Porsche not the aftermarket options.

I put a Platypus from Cravenspeed in the tow hook location on my 981 S with parking sensors. They supply dime sized black foam stick ons that disperse the sensor sound. Stack them until the sensor stops working. Ask them to send you extra stick ons.

I did see it but I was looking for the OEM bracket mounted as normal. I guess if I had to mount a front plate, I would just do it the way it was meant to be done from the factory and was just curious to see if anybody has done it. Yours is probably the closest I've seen but you've got the attachment set to mount underneath the upper front bumper part so still not mounted with the two original dimpled spots.

I use this on my Macan and my old 718. I also installed this on my 991.2 and it worked great. It is inexpensive, no holes to drill, and its easy to take on an off. It's also center to the car, which I prefer to the offset location using the tow hook.
