Default Front license plate options

I live in NY which means I need a front license plate unfortunately. The dealership won't drill the front bumper so I wanted to see if anyone else had to deal with this and what my best option is to keep the car looking nice.

There are some magnetic options or you can get a mount that fits on the tow hook.

I briefly shopped for no drill options before I just decided to YOLO and run without one (live in Ohio - it's only ticketable as an additional offense. Can't be pulled over for it). Surprisingly, a lot of newer cars around here just don't have them and I've yet to have any issues

That being said, this is what I would get if I needed it: https://www.cravenspeed.com/the-plat...t-for-porsche/
I don't care about it being off-center

Check these out. I put one of these on the front of my Cayman and it's working great!

Have a picture of how it fits? The one downside of the skene holder is the brackets show when the plate is off.

I have a Craigs on my Shelby GT350 and the adhesive hasn't failed yet. I replaced the thumbwheel nut with a wing nut because the thumbwheel was almost impossible to remove once tightened.
I too would love to see how you mounted it. Was it put on your CS or the GT4?

Please see above post for pictures. Ironically, I was at the track this weekend and I forgot to remove the plate. It ended up being a good test however, as the plate stayed on at "track speeds" of ~120 MPH in 95 degree Houston heat!

Here is another possible option that mounts much lower on the car that I use on my 981 GTS they are located in Illinois call them to see if this will work on your 718.

Good luck

FWIW, I live in a front license plate state too (Colorado) and I’ve gone sans front tag for 8 years on multiple vehicles, never once got a ticket, even when pulled over. If you did get a ticket, what’s the cost?

You're more likely to get a ticket from the parking police than being stopped. No front plate in SF is $121. Can't say for Colorado.

Related to this discussion: why do people blur out their tag when posting a picture? Literally, everyone sees it everytime you go anywhere...

Please enlighten me.
