Yeah strangly it's not on their website.. probably trying to avoid backlash from PCNA for advertising new GT cars which I have heard is discouraged. I found it on cars.com but it appears that add is gone. Here is a link to pictures that works currently:

Easy break in and suspension assessment day.

Short shifted at 6 k, lots of understeer from factory but that can be dialed out. Homestead highlights understeer very well in turns 3,4 and 8. Way more torque than my 981 GT4 or 981 Clubsport. Brakes were outstanding, ( Steels).

Need to do alignment , hope to get -2.5 FA and -2.0 RA out of factory parts. Needs more toe in rear as it still has the hi speed braking wiggle. I was able to get my 981 GT4 pretty flat and neutral so this will be easy to do on the RS as the new stiffer springs definitely help. Very precise steering and will be world class once understeer dialed out. It will be interesting to see how close I can get to my CS times when I get it dialed in.

On the street it is epic ...

same as my track assessment, check the thread on gt4RS track setup. I shared where I went to after a first track drive and it was a lot better at Bathurst after some minor setup changes.

FA should not be a problem with extra shims; factorywise reports are 2.0 being the limit. RA is the limit and doubtful you'll get the toe where you want it.

Thanks, I didn’t see it.

The Bose SO has been for the other 718s, but I don’t think the 4RS has ever had a Bose stop order.

I also haven’t heard of a PCCB stop order for the 4RS.

My Porsche dealer is saying the Cup2 R tyres have just gone end of life. Anyone heard the same?

if so what spec R tyre would you guys recommend to use? Cup2s aren’t that great for the track.

used the ao52 on the gt4 and it was decent but the side walls are not great compared to the Michelin’s

thanks

In the past have stop orders affected cars that are V200?

The 4RS had a stop order on PCCB this year....know several 4RS that customers had to take the steel brakes if they wanted to keep their allocation.

I have had several GT4RS customers switch over to Surface Transforms "ST" rotors for this exact reason. If you still want Carbon discs on your GT4RS after having to option iron brakes, this is the perfect solution for you. These will outperform the OE PCCB discs by every metric as shown below:
  • Lighter
  • Run Cooler
  • Last Longer
  • Refurbish 3-4x throughout their life
  • Much larger Pad selection (some guys even run their favorite iron pads with these on track)
  • Cost ~50% less than New PCCB discs
You also get to upgrade to the Pagid RSC pad lineup and avoid the risk of losing your factory warranty on your PCCB brakes. The Pagid RSC pads are fantastic on both the street and track.

I ship globally and I am running a great sale on ST rotors and Pagid pads through Thursday 12/1/22, PM or email for the best pricing!
