I think it will be limited but based on time. they want to usher in the next variant and so the GT4RS is the final current variant. My guess is they planned on having it built for 2 years but add in supply chain issues, chip shortages, war, etc and I bet they make less than 5000 globally. but no one knows. I do agree it will be much less than we were led to believe initially. I think of the GT4 RS as the Porsche equivalent of the BMW 1M.

Wait until you have driven it - Porsche spend a lot of time and effort on RS suspension set up, its one of the things that make them unique. They are the most track capable and yet road legal products they make. You will find it a bit "jiggly" and you'll get used to it quickly.

For every model year, the production of 911 turbo Ss are still the most limited number of cars, despite them being not numbered. The GT4RS will easily out numbered the number of 911 turbo Ss out there.
