My previous 981 GT4 was bottoming out on some back roads. 4RS even lower ?
This is what I get for not fact checking, sorry! A couple of "reviews" have stated that the GT4 RS is even 10mm lower than my GT4 so alarm bells went off in our household. I just fact checked on the Porsche official site and now see that both the GT4 and GT4 RS are 30 mm lower than the standard 718 Cayman. For what it's worth, the GT4 RS overall height is 2mm lower though.
AP said in the TG Interview the GT4RS would be the best sounding and most emotional Porsche on sale.
I have my doubts about the exhaust sound......they all talk about the intake and it's very prominent on all videos but on the background you can hear the same old GT4 sound as they share basically the same muffler with a bit of redesign on the inlet.
But that's an easy fix and hopefully this engine wont have the ticking noise the 9A2 EVO has all the time.....
Has anyone heard anything about the spring rates for the new 4RS?
I have not. But since the GT4 RS does not have enormous downforce, I would expect it to be significantly softer sprung than a 992 GT3 (firmer than a GT4, but not double like a 992 is to a 991.2).
Hands down YES.
I'm currently taking better "care" of my current front lip, but that's because I'm literally "crabbing" out of every shopping mall parking lot exit, gas station, and driveway.
There is a reason why the front lip is a separate part and is un-painted and cheap and easy to replace. It's a wear item like windshield wipers and brake pads.

Absolutely.
And I've already replaced mine myself once.
Easy to do, but the price has increased over the years.
Just got informed that CXX option front bonnet and wing stripe is 8500 EUR.
Have been informed that this option has not yet been officially approved and therefore PAG has not shared final pricing.
That having been said, Porsche Exclusive does believe it's coming, just a matter of when.
