The improvement is extremely small for straight flowing air as only the thickness of the supports for under mounting is saved aero in the low pressure zone.
However ONLY for air that flows cross angle ( like in a very high speed turn) is the flow less disturbed on the under side, but is still disturbed on the upper side high pressure zone but to a lesser degree.

Maybe I missed something but I don't see why the Weissach pack in this instance is required. From all I can see is your paying more for less paint. I thought and maybe I'm wrong that the hood and all other items are already carbon fiber on the standard RS.

Swan neck attachments are not that much better than marketing would imply.

lol same convo being rehashed here as the GT3RS two years ago. It's not a secret, nor news, that the WP is just paying more for less paint. The panels are already carbon fiber. That said, the carbon fiber that's under the paint isn't the same finish/quality as the visible carbon that comes on the WP. So you are paying for that as well. That said, I really wish I had gotten WP on my 3RS. I passed on it because I didn't think it was worth the price. But after seeing GT3RS WP in person, I changed my mind. It really does look that much better IMO
And you'll forget about the price once you see your new car in the flesh for the first time.

assuming you like the race-tek interior, then having all that carbon included on the outside plus the intakes inside the car, it becomes a decent offering price-wise. I'm not a fan of the carbon hood, BUT.. when you add the CXX stripe which brings back some paint onto the hood, then it becomes a very attractive proposition.. question is how much is the CXX hood stripe?

Exposed carbon fiber on a road car is the equivalent of having your car wear a gold chain.
