With respect to the lap times... when I go to the Canadian configurator, I don't see any option to choose SC2R tires for either the GT3 or GT4RS. Are they only available in other markets? Was the 4RS lap time definitely on the R tires?
The R tires have never been literally "optional" - you have to buy them after sale (from dealer or other tire outlets). Yes, lap times are definitely on R tires.
My quick thoughts as someone who owns a 2021 GT4 PDK and have a deposit down for the GT4RS.

1. engine - amazing it gets the GT3 engine
2. price - $143k msrp is a steal compared to the other GT models, not taking into account ADMs of course
Dislikes
1. wheels - disappointing its keeping the same tire/wheel sizes as the GT4, which already struggles with grip and understeer. This could explain why the GT4RS was so much slower in the corners during its nurburgring lap compared to other GT cars. Also don't like that centerlocks are the default.
2. induction noise - I hate the piped in induction noise in my GT4 and ended up removing the sound symposer, which helped somewhat. Looks like it will be much worse in the GT4RS.
Classic Porsche, let's do Ring lap times on tires that are not on production cars or offered as an option on the configurator. I want to see what the car will do on their standard tire offerings to customers.
Meanwhile, other manufacturers have to sell their cars with the same tires that did the Ring lap times.
Some interesting tidbits from Mr Andreas Preuninger on Top Gear vid about GT4 RS production volumes:
He also lets leak that there is an option (CXX??) for a body color stripe on the bare CF Weissach hood just like a GT2RS had. He says his personal car has this option, but he cannot show it just yet.

Well hell, if your dealership will xfer to mine, I might be interested in taking that slot off your hands.
I think the 6 individual throttle bodies are likely in the same place (right above intake valves), but the plumbing further upstream is reconfigured...
So does it have itb too?
Can’t tell from the standard equipment list, which also says it has an integrated dry sump.
