For me, I would really want, aside from 485 hp, a suspension upgrade, but I’m not sure what flexibility they have with the current set up.

1.) Better Aero, which we can see pretty easily.
2.) Updated front suspension.....likely cup car based like the CS stuff. I doubt they'll do anything insane with the rear suspension at this point.
3.) More Power. At least 450 if not more.
4.) Better engine cooling...which again from the mules looks like its there.

It's telling how little we expect from Porsche, than a 0.2L increase in displacement seems like a wonderland.. when other brands will give buyers all sorts of surprises and take big risks (new z06 for example).

Lol, comes from years of conditioning, gaslighting and misplaced expectations, as a result of their incremental evolution vs revolution approach.
Porsche always remind us that they are not like other brands, and that ‘There is no substitute’

Would they really go to a 4.2L engine? The unicorn flat6 has always been 4.0.

I am still sticking with my prediction that it will be 4.0L, 8200RPM redline and will have no more than 450HP.

Perhaps, but and advertised 36HP increase over stock is not going to worth it for a lot of us, certainly not me.

Latest rumor from a poster on RT is 475 hp and release of November 18. Could be a credible source.
( I love my manual so I'd be out)

Agreed....that's why I'm keeping my GT4 PDK until I know exactly what is going into the RS.
Then there's the price issue....will it be worth it all the trouble to get an allocation, the higher price not to mention the possibility of ADMs?
If it gets too close to the GT3 I'll switch to a GT3...at this price level $10-$15K extra for the GT3 is nothing and will be worth.

Latest pricing rumor on a German Forum has it approaching 150k Euro including VAT. That would be about 35% increase over a GT4 with PDK and LWBs.. 20k Euro more gets one a similarly equipped new GT3.

While sometimes we can't compare EURO to USD that percentage change should put it right between a GT4 and a 992 GT3

So....150k with Vat is what about 125k without vat? So about 145k USD? It'd have to be a massive jump over a GT4....because I'm sure with options it'll be closer to 160k USD easy.

For those saying they’ll just get a 992 gt3, keep in mind it isn't just a matter of deciding and ordering. There’s no way to know if gt3 supply will ever get remotely close to demand.

That's true...but I'll bet it will be easier to get a 992 GT3 than a GT4RS......for starters we do know that the GT3 will be produce more than one year.

Assuming of course that you actually 'want' a GT3...
