I hope this is not the end product, the swan neck looks very afterthought compared with the 992 GT3.
It's also missing the side rear glass vents and 3RS front louvres. I'd have expected a more aggressive rear bumper as well (more aligned to 992 GT3) than being an identical copy of the current GT4.
Agreed, tbh if there’s not much differentiation between the 4RS and the GT4 except a large price bump, it makes the GT3 look mighty good as an option. For similar price why wouldn’t someone just get the GT3???

My best guess is that bumpers will be indentical to the GT4.....they are identical on the gt3 and gt3rs and this car is aligned with the 982, not the next generation car.
I have been looking at the production 992 gt3 and there's a possibility they might use that rear swan neck spoiler on a GT4RS.
Expect less development/new parts than in a gt3rs.....there's less cost gap and a need to keep model hierarchy.
It's funny they are still running around the test mules. Usually by this time an almost production ready product would be running around.

Exactly.....the gt3/gt3RS doesn't have the problem a GT4RS would have, assuming the GT4RS has a nice price bump (excluding ADM)......which is all the options you have by putting a bit more $$$ and getting a different model with much higher performance.
It all comes down to what you are looking for.....anyway, they will sell ever single one.

It's not missing the side vents. They recently changed the design and its a much more fluid look. Google the most recent 4RS spyshots and it'll match up with the ones pictured here. Also, the car still has a lot of camo on, and throughout the whole spyshot history of the 4RS the fender louvres haven't been uncovered, but they're definitely there. Also, the diffuser is slightly different. If you look at the edges of each side of the diffuser, there are some plastic bits that extend farther than on the standard GT4. Anyhow, they probably wouldn't have to change the diffuser much anyhow because of the underbody work that they're likely doing to the GT4 RS. Also, I like the new swan neck. It looks very nice on the GT4 and it reminds me of the GT4CS.
Some grist for the mill: Here's one of the more recent photos of the GT4 RS testing at the Ring where I've appended some thoughts/questions:
There appears to be a more recent rear window air inlet (see NCheok's post above) but the above photo raises several questions:
What type of vent (?) is being concealed by the panel behind the front wheels?
Some sort of vent is being concealed with tape forward of the front wheel and behind the bumper..
The front fender tops have tape concealing what is likely high-pressure air vents similar to, but smaller, than those found on the GT3 RS.
The end plate on the wing appears to be finished differently from the rest of the car; is there another size/style end plate planned for the final version?
This late in the game, the presence of center lock wheels on this recent mule can only mean that they will be offered – if not the only option – on the RS.
The window air inlet mentioned above looks like the one in NCheok's photo only with the addition of two 'gills' forward of the larger scoop - camouflage or a design mod?
Two satellite-like antenna receivers covered in tape are likely for test data telemetry, or ...?
Whatever all this means, in the absence of confirmation of its final configuration by Porsche, it's loads of fun speculating on how the RS will finally turn out!

The above are early photographs. Since then there has been two different variantslapping the ring. The one with the 5 lug wheels is the most recent one testing at the ring.
IIRC there was a post somewhere that indicated which was a prototype test mule and which was a near ready production test mule by looking at the license plate it had: LB vs BB. Either way I'm hoping it follows the GT4CS example and has 5-lug wheels std since IMHO CLs are a PITA.

All the early cars were LB. The latest car with the 5 stud wheels is BB.
