True, but isn’t that every thread on every forum board that has any longevity? lol Not to mention repeat threads. We get some new person asking about allocations every week or so, who gets made fun of for a dupe thread for a few posts, but then settles into a multi page dialogue anyway.
We’re desperate for news; the supposed November GT4 RS announcement date can’t get here soon enough.
@993RR You forgot...spyder with the huge advantage in looks over the speedster.
There aren't too many unknowns left, but from an aesthetic standpoint I'm super curious how they will make the top-end grills for the Spyder as there are no windows like on the GT4RS to stick them into. Some kind of intake that stands proud of the top side of the car?.. maybe where the current "Spyder" script is?

The fact that there will be a Spyder RS suggests the “RS” treatment may be more of a badge with some decorations than the true killer car we want.

Yes those flaps that come up when you are handling the roof, they will rise up on pneumatics to roll bar height, then flip over to expose vents. They will better channel air to your head, give you that blowing hair in the wind look and feel. Those who have hair.

Not at all... spyder RS was the more aggressive version of 550 spyder. It's the perfect historical precedent, with GT4Rs underpinnings. That engine will need same intake system .. just a question of where?
Possibly those Spyder plates become gills like on 550 spyder RS.
Since we seem to have morphed off topic to Spyder discussion, I'll throw up the only Spyder I'm interested in... At a recent PCA social event. Yes, it's real.
But I don't think it's the 500 HP or the GT3 engine...
