In the tangential topic:
I think it is possible that Porsche might release a Boxster 718 RS Spyder 60 GT4 Anniversary VIP Heritage Edition with a manual gearbox.
However, it would be the same box as in the current crop of 4.0s and thus limited to 309 ft-lbs. Power bump over the current 4.0 would all be about moving the torque curve up the RPM range and a consequent sacrifice of low-end torque.
And, then, you can bet that the gearing-is-too-long folks will start another 27 threads on The Horror! The Horror of the gearing.

And the present CS iteration has a differently sized engine than the std street version. 'Nuff said.

Ok, what are your thoughts on what they could do to make the RS better than a GT4 that has been upgraded with a tune, exhaust, etc.?
For me, I would really want, aside from 485 hp, a suspension upgrade, but I’m not sure what flexibility they have with the current set up.
