Amazing tires, I'm using Conti Sport Contact5s and they are absolutely fantastic for sporty driving. These should be even better.

Default Oh boy...

Bridgestone Potenza RE-11s. 968 M030 brake rotors, pads, lines & sensors. New Porsche M030 front struts and rear shocks. Jumper fuel line, lots of mounting hardware here and there... the list goes on! This one's almost what I would consider "done."

Rear hatch re-inforcement to keep it from deflecting at high speeds. Fairly simple job with some 1" L-angle aluminum from Home Depot.

Tweaked the ride height adjustment a bit more to try to even out the corner weight. We are close to what we want but maxed out on adjustment. I probably need to re-index the torsion bars (again) but don't think we'll have time before sebring so we're just going to run it as is. Using our homemade scale setup we show we are close to even corner weights so we should be in good shape.

Sebring is less than a month away and we have a fairly short prep list this time. I still need to drill a vent relief for the bearing caps, change out the spark plug wires, secure the wiring harness from vibrations and find my gopro.

Installed the crankshaft girdle, attached the connecting rods, installed the lower balance shaft, water pump, oil pump, and started on the oil cooler

Fitted reworked vented nose panel, install gts headlights and cut bumper for intercooler. Lots more fitting before paint. Might get a new header panel, does not want to line up on the top for hardware. Then choose a color.

I want those headlights! Did you make 'em or buy 'em? That's going to be a nice looking car...

PS: Very nice work on the intercooler grill!

Thanks for the kinda words, alot work left to be done. I got the headlights from here http://gtpheadlights.com/ Theyre based in Poland. Took a while to get here and a bit pricey, but well worth the build quality.

Looks a lot like mine right now:

Just getting started fitting a 924GTS style front bumper. Probably going to be a good learning experience.

Cursing is like any other skill ... without constant practice, you lose your edge. Since I bought the 944, the neighbors tell me I've really upped my game.
