Drove the red one to visit the momentarily incapacitated blue one...haven't washed them in quite some time now
Replaced the starter solenoid on the red one as sometimes it would just not engage.

Mine is loaded in the car trailer for the first outing tomorrow, after installing the 450# springs/30MM Tbars/Cage, and removing soooooo many under-hood and interior bits. This car is now seriously light and seriously quick to drive. Removing the moonroof bits/pieces, I was shocked at the weight of all the associated parts/trim/panel/bits and pieces. The blank out plate I got from Texas Performance Concepts was easy to install and I epoxied & ran four pop rivets into it to hold it in place!!

Built a ghetto blast cabinet for the sand blasting operation...works well but there are a few tweaks to do.

Started it for the first time since May of 2016 now that the motor is officially reinstalled.

Solid upper torsion mounts:

Can anyone comment on removing the E-brake cable from this housing? I already removed the 2 pins and the 2 jaws from the end inside the housing. Does it just pull out? The 10mm bolt that's buried in grime has also been removed with no effect. They need cleaning pretty badly.

Pretty decent deal considering what OE costs. And the people I've asked about used/rubber ones have quoted me between $80-100 for both on average.

Not sure yet. I still have CV axle refresh and a handful of other planned maintenance on my list before it goes back together. But from what I've read the NVH impact is little to none. There's isolation between the rear arms and the torsion housing via the spring plate bushings and the shocks already. Plus the spring plate cover mounts (forward of these mounts, 2 oclock on the wheel well cavity) and the front mount bushings (super long 19mm bolt front to rear) are the main ones that impact NVH apparently. I don't expect these to make a giant difference compared to stock on a street car... I was simply missing these mounts altogether and these seemed like the best solution.

Silky idle and pulls to the redline seamlessly.

Michael..I found that to remove the brake cable, they are locked in with great amounts of grime and goo. I had to heat the cable guide (long tube) slightly to get them out. Lots of PB as well..The tube is a press fit into the backing plate as well. No bolts or any securing devices...Did you find any evidence of the arched piece that I pictured in the past?. I used a microflame torch (runs on butane) to heat the collar enough. Hope that this goes well for you..

Are these injector results from Witchhunter? I have to send out a set of injectors for cleaning soon...not Porsche, but at 165 ea for new ones, cleaning and refurb is a more cost effective solution.
