2012s can be either a 997.2 or 991. 2017+ is 991.2 991= lots of buttons on center console.

If a car still has the factory warranty will Porsche allow for the option of extending it?
There might be - I do know this car was priced at 67k for 3 weeks before they dropped it last weekend to 64,988 - i'd say 57k max and that's generous. Excellent options and color I will say.

Forgot that one recently went for $59K recently with less miles. Thought he paid more! This does have a few more choice options but that's a lot of car for <$60K

Jlovin's car is a great spec and decent price 991.1... I think the only reason it hasn't sold yet is that Racing Yellow is a LOVE IT or NO WAY kind of color...

2012 is a split year. Both 997.2 and 991.1 cars were produced... You have to either see a picture of the car (front fogs and rear deck lid are dead giveaways) or run the VIN to see if it says "The new 911 Carrera..."

Yes you are right. I look at that post everyday sometimes more than once a day but just don't know about that color. For me personally that color is "here here look at me" kind of color. Nonetheless I actually did PM him this morning.

Is that KTM 690 that you riding in your profile photo? I rode to Alaska (Deadhorse and back) last summer from SF bay area. A great ride, will remember it for rest of my life!

How has that car not sold?! I know it's yellow but it's a great color and a hell of a deal no? I'd buy that in a heartbeat if it had a solid PPI, and I'm a 4S kind of guy not even a 2-wheeler...

I also like that 991 and would have considered it if I was looking for a 991 and if I liked the color yellow.

It's a KTM 450 Six-days set up for roadbook rally but I also have a 950 Adventure and a 950 SuperEnduro... Haven't ridden Alaska but dual-sport moto trips throughout much of the US as well as Central Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Spain, and New Zealand will be my lifetime memories!

Surprised yellow is harder to sell than brown.

I don't think that's a Turbo S. Sure is a beaut though.

edit: also, John Wright had it listed for sale here (RL) and said that it sold a few days ago. Not sure what the story is...?

Just an FYI...

In the process of purchasing my own car last weekend, I'd been compiling asking prices of 997.2 C2S/C4S coupes.

The attached is what I was seeing up until late December 2016.

More details at https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...hat-i-saw.html
