The price they want is a bit crazy. My local dealer sold a 997.2 Turbo S Edition 918 Coupé (trade in on a 911R) for like $120,000.
They probably could have got more but still....$190K for this?

Newbie question: How are you breaking down the options for these cars by the VIN? Can anyone do that or just you?

Replace VIN in this url with any other VIN# to get build information for that car.

Hello all,

Noob Question...In my endless search for a 997.1S I noticed most of the Leather "Sport Seat" optioned cars have manually adjustable seats. Is this the standard for sport seats? Aside from personal preference does anyone here think it's better to have powered adjustable seating? Thanks in advance for your responses.

*** seats (heh), Adaptive Sport Seats, have a manual fore-aft slider and manual pump height adjustment but electric seat-back tilt adjustment. These are the standard adjustments on the *** seats. The upgrade is the 16 way which can flip you upside down, backwards and sideways there are so many adjustments. But yes, the sport seats most commonly only have the manual slider. They are also considerably lighter than the 16 way sofas.

EDIT: The seat I'm describing I've now researched and read is the 'Sport Seat'. The adaptive sport seat is the powered version of the same seat.

Here are the seat options for the 997: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...l#post13928172
