That car was recently on ebay for $30K more. Here's a note in the CarGuru's review section for that dealer, sounds like another example.
Response from Pioneer Automotive LLC:
Our website has been hacked 3 times in the last few months. Someone is getting a lot of laughs at our expense. They keep putting inventory on our site that we don't own. Then, people call or send an email inquiry & we don't have that vehicle or those vehicles & we look like liars. It's not us. I don't know who is doing this but I talked to 1 mad customer that said he traced one vehicle through Google by entering it's v.i.n. & that vehicle showed up on 30 different websites. And we get 1 starred because of it.

Update: Just called them, they don't have the car. Hacked again... (they are mostly a lower end $8K-$20 type used car dealer)
I think you might need to brush up on your scam spotting...
Florida plates, California ad?
'Supercharged'?
Other details that make no sense?
Ridiculously underpriced?
No phone number?

Oh man without knowing the details behind the reason for hacking, on the surface I feel bad for them
I like the cargurus site. Didn't know about it until a saw it here. They often give feedback on the asking price that appears to account for mileage and options. Does any one here know if the calculations are available for each car that they evaluate? As a potential buyer, it would be helpful to have this pricing evaluation itemized so that I can see how they arrived at it.
I never realized how many were produced until jumping into the 997 market
This post has some 2007 and 2006 997 sales numbers for the US, seems that in the 1st 10 months of 2007, the ratio was C2S coupes : C2S cabriolets :: ~ 7 : 6. In 2006 that same ratio was ~ 1 : 1. I was surprised to see that for the 2007 C4S the same ratio was reversed C4S coupes : C4S cabriolets :: ~ 9 : 10.

It would be interesting to see the ratio for a recent 991 year.
It may have to do with the higher HP on the 997.2 led to more people buying Cabriolets? There is less of a trade off with the extra power?
Wish more people bought Targas but some contemporary threads state salesman bashed Targas because they were typically special order.
This is a great deal! Very transparent listing showing the car near new even with 20k miles and CPO! Would of brought this instead of mine if I was open to PDKs.

I've wondered about this during my 997 search. I just thought enthusiasts are holding on to coupes while convertible buyers are people who moves on to the next greatest sooner. The C4S vs C4S Cab is even more shocking.
