Yeah, that **** even made CNN . . . Anti DUI lawyer gets DUI . . . Don't blow, don't take field sobriety, don't talk very much and don't admit drinking anything. Refuse blood test . . . No evidence.

Sandestin is nice, I never got why people go in the summer (mosquitoes, no see-ums, and the AL posse).

You are right about the Corvettes and pick-ups. Friend just dropped $73k on a F-150 4x4, then another $7-8k in the truck shop.

Yeah, buddy!

Also, is it true that new Corvettes come with a baseball cap and mustache comb, as standard?

This is a great thread. Thanks to all you posting in it.

I'm keeping my eyes open for a 997.2 C2S, C4S, or GTS with PDK to complement my 993. I need to keep the cost down so that I don't have to let go of the 993 to buy it. This tread is fantastic!

Has anybody ever had any dealings with Momentum Motorcars in Marietta, Georgia? They have a beautiful 2013 Carrera S Coupe listed on their site as well as car gurus
http://www.momentummotorcars.com/det...-15873170.html

I am wanting to find out if they are a one-price place or wiling to deal. Also, if I do decide to proceed, how do I go about setting up a PPI, or is it even necessary? Thanks for any help!

Unless you get a full warranty, a PPI is necessary. I have to admit that I bought two 997s without getting a PPI done (the horror) but they were CPO and I got good deals on both. I then took them for post inspection to make sure that I could fix anything that was needed but there were no issues.

From these small dealers that buy at auction and dip them, absolutely do a PPI.

Good catch.

Porsche of North Houston were advertising this car in December. They were asking $39,997 at the time (see attached PDFs for their original ad).

This new seller is asking $42,888

Karl.

These GTS cars are getting 997.1 Twin Turbo money....wowzer... I would take a 6sp 07/08 997.1TT car all day over a .2GTS.

Don't get me wrong love the GTS cars but still like the Turbo more...

Are the turbos any less fun to drive? I've never driven a turbo, and i always hear you tube reviewers rave about the throttle response of the naturally aspirated cars. For my $65,000, I think i'd rather have a 6MT TT as well. They're so dang good looking, trusted engine package, and they seem to hold their value pretty well. There's quite a few nice manual 997.1 TTs out there with less than 40k miles for around $65k.
