If you have the torque sharing display on, you see most times it is a RWD car, until you start driving it a bit harder. For the purists RWD folks, it might be an odd, or even an off, feeling, but I for one like it. For everyday normal street driving I do not think the 4 makes that much, if any, difference over a 2. On the downside the 4 does cost more, and there is more stuff to break. I am a fan, but I see 4 as nice, but not required. Good Luck on your choice.
Thanks sctanton52 for the quick reply. Always good insight and advice to share. I am being asked to choose the GTS 2 vs 4 today! Tough decision. Both have the wide body which is nice +/- the light strip at the back. cheers

Now for the really crazy (and hopefully NOT a 64K dollar question), can you order a houndstooth interior through the parts counter??? (Just took delivery of a 911 with black leather interior)

To complete the story....I ended up switching my C4S order to a GTS 4 order. It is now final. Not a huge difference in price compared to my previous build. The wait is on....again.

Good Morning everyone from Portugal

Place my order in April, deposit 10%, 4,5% discount for a base Carrera Cabrio (Porsche Code: PHFE11R4) that I will collect in the beginning of February, after the ceramic coating.

Rennlist has been my first choice in collecting reliable information.

Thank you all

Welcome, Did it really take some 9 months? That seems like a long time. None the less I hope you have great fun once you get your 911.

Unfortunately Yes.

My SA keeps telling me that Portugal and Spain (Porsche Ibérica) only have 3 or 4% of the allocations. People I know that ordered the car in February in the same place I did are only now collecting them

Thank you.

He likes his little Porsche toy cars, we'll have to see how he likes the full scale version from the child seat! Might be fun for him to see a few pictures like this when he gets older - I hear they grow up really fast, and so far it sure seems that way!

Found an interesting read and video on the international vehicle shipping process -- the things your ordered car has to go through before it even gets to your dealership.
