I've secured my allocation for a 991.2 Targa 4 GTS, currently scheduled to be here end of June. I'm still waffling on color.

Current config:

Agate Grey (A little concerned about how brown this is)
Turbo S wheels (I struggled with CL vs non-CL... don't really like the look of the Carrera S wheels, dealer convinced me CL wheels won't ding resale value of GTS)
Black+Bordeaux (HOT!)
18-way seats
Premium Package Plus
Targa bar in silver (design feature for this car, black makes it disappear, it should stand out IMO)
Model designation stripped from back & doors (too busy looking & don't like the font).
PDK (daily driver/commuter car, and I like the 6MT in my S2000 more ;D)
Lane Change Assist
GT steering wheel / heated multifunction (here in CA the mornings get down to frigid 40s and my poor hands get cold!)

Still debating colors. Might switch to Sapphire Blue/Black+Luxor. Sapphire is my favorite exterior color by far but feel like this color combo may not work as well on GTS.

Sounds good. I love the targa but too long a delivery.
I went for the sapphire blue in my GTS order, also with the red / black leather combo. Plenty of sapphire GTS images around. They look great.
End of march build for me.

I have the same combo in my 4S 991.2

Several others also have this combo on here. It's referred to as Superman - at first it was frowned upon - but I quite love it!

Bradley scott - It was your's that made my mind up. First real pic's of that combo i had seen. Originally I had ordered a C4s but now changed to GTS but in same combo. Looks fantastic, hope you are enjoying it.

Got the delivery schedule for my build last week, hopefully I am like others here and the actual is much earlier than the expected!

I ordered the car in November, was allocated the slot end of December, and the order locked at the dealership on January 25th.

I made the deal with my dealer January 17th at which time he advised an approximate expected delivery of May 10th with a March production. He needed to secure an allocation from another dealer first though, so he couldn't be sure of the date at that point. He was then able to trade for an allocation from another dealer and called me back on January 18th that he had the allocation with a delivery date of May 14th. The order locked this past Friday (February 3rd).

I was hoping to get my car a week or so early, but May 14th would work for me. I'm in the prairies in western Canada so while most of the snow is gone by the first week of April, a lot of sand to clean up off the streets and pot hole repair, so May 14th will be OK, but May 7th would be better.

At what point dod you ask for the production schedule for the dealer?

The splendid ace docked in Davisville Port this AM. Hopefully the car will be a the dealership by tomorrow, ahead of the incoming snow storm!!! Feel like a little kid the night before Christmas!!!

My 991.2 C2S was a launch car that I got last Mar (2016). I love it. However, the new GTS is making me feel miserable. It's got more power, wider hips (rear wheel drive option), more performance enhancing bits than I got, Alcantara seats, black CL wheels ... and all this for less than what I paid . Anyone else feeling as miserable as me?
