I ordered the 4 way sports seats plus (I like setting my seating position and then leaving it) in my base and they are outstanding.......beyond comfortable.

I got the 18 way seats for lower leg support - I liked the tighter seats but in the (lighter and cheaper) four ways my knees were always floating in the air. I could adjust the 18 ways enough that my legs rested on the seat comfortably. I haven't felt so comfortable in any of my previous sports cars so I was sold.

I don't have an inbound vehicle, but per marinetraffic.com, Goodwood left Emden (Germany) on Jan 3 and is due to arrive at Davisville (Rhode Island) on Jan 13th.

Well I'm back in the waiting room. Targa GTS with PTS (Modegrau) confirmed. Build date not confirmed yet. Between April and June I'm told. Oh yeah and houndstooth seats confirmed!!!!! Anyone ever go to Leipzig? Zuffenhausen will be closed for Mission E factory upgrades apparently.

Looking forward to seeing this one. Please post pics. If you don't mind answering, how much were the Pepita seats? Just Pepita on the inserts right?

Congrats!! I cannot wait to see this build. I'd better start saving for when it comes available CPO!

So....I have decided to cancel my recent C4S order and switch it to a GTS. The price difference is only a few thousand for a similarly spec'd GTS 2 and about $7,500 more for a GTS 4 (in canadian dollars). It appears as though the 0-100 time is marginally faster with the GTS 4 but the 0-160 time is faster in the GTS 2. The differences are minor and I would never be able to really appreciate that difference but I am just looking to differentiate the 2 cars to help decide which to choose. I had also considered winter driving and therefore was looking at the GTS 4 but realistically I will not likely drive it in the winter.

Any thoughts/advice regarding whether to go for the GTS 2 or 4?

I have driven a few 991.1 GTS 4s. In my view it has a bit 'better' feel when being pushed hard in the corners, partiularily when accelerating out. It must be the harder you accelerate the more torque goes to up to the front wheels. If you have the torque sharing display on, you see most times it is a RWD car, until you start driving it a bit harder. For the purists RWD folks, it might be an odd, or even an off, feeling, but I for one like it. For everyday normal street driving I do not think the 4 makes that much, if any, difference over a 2. On the downside the 4 does cost more, and there is more stuff to break. I am a fan, but I see 4 as nice, but not required. Good Luck on your choice.

I was in the same frame of mind yesterday as I have a C4S on order locking next week. I am using it as a DD in Ottawa so plenty of snow in the winter. The GTS 4 being 10mm lower made me think I should stick with the C4S.
Are you going to drive it all year round in snow? If so I would get the GTS 4, if you are lucky enough to live in Vancouver where there is no snow (this year an exception) or will only drive it in the summer, I would go with the GTS 2
