The dealer is still responsible, whether their contractors fault or not. That said it sounds like you already got special treatment and a great deal...in that case I would probably settle for the windbreaker as you don't want to make life difficult for your client. I would imagine PCNA would find fault with the dealer. Hard not to...

I can't beat the crap out of them after that.
I'll accept the windbreaker - and I'll see what PCNA can do that will NOT harm the dealer.
But yes - they are responsible just like we would be if we subcontracted work out and the client had a penalty.

Well, on a brand new 2017 custom build 4S (rare as it is) the MSRP was $140k and the dealer gave it to me for $131k. Drove into Brooklyn from Warrington PA to sign the papers.
I can't beat the crap out of them after that.

So I'm a bit late to the Holiday celebration as I was up in Washington for Christmas with family. My SA sent me the first photo to let me know it made it from Houston like the rest have posted here. The second photo is my car next to some red and white model..... Better pics when I pick it up on Sunday! The 35 year wait is coming to an end!

I got 5%, and that's decent. 7% is exceptional. 6% is NOT average. It may become average over the next several months as the model year gets older, but it has NOT been average. I would say average is closer to 4-5%.

Essentially, on an MSRP of $140k and change - I put $5000 down (my deposit) and my payment is $1895 / month for 39 months.
Had 4 or 5 quotes of $13000 down and north of $2000 a month. You all probably remember my original thread of "prices are insane!"
I feel it would be tricky to prod the dealer to give me back December's lease because of the plate issue.
Asking PCNA for something seems viable - but not if they will dock the dealer.

I got 6.25% off my build in early December. I feel I probably could have done slightly better but the build slot I wanted was going into lock the evening I put my deposit down. A little more off msrp was not worth another 1-2 month wait for me. There is quite a bit on competition in the north east and for anyone in this market I would aim for a minimum of 6%

I did a bit less than 1Gunner at some 3% on my 17 TTS Cab. I am fairly new to the PCar world, and my dealer, only 3-years. I was happy as it was 'my' car speced just the way I wanted.
