Guys, what Jon is selling is not your typical jack.

This is the AC brand and has a significant capacity and lift range. I could see a buyer being someone who knows what it is and will jump at the chance to source one locally. A serious mechanic would love this. I think it's over investment for my capability but someone more inclined would get great use out of it.

Thanks Matt. I did get your email but I was never part of the interest group for this. I dont run a Motronics ECU, I run a LINK G4 and have full laptop programmability. Sorry if there was some confusion....

Doug. Please could you PM me with a screen shot of the new regs that state 1KG for Targa Tour?

Ive reviewed the 2012 supplementary regulations and back then we were to conform with the MSNZ manual CH 35 page 31, 2kg.

Id be very interested if this has changed as it will save me buying a new 2KG unit for this ears Targa Tour in SI (my one form 2012 has only one band to hold it in place as was then the rules...).

I phoned them a week or so ago and they told me that. I suggest you double check in writing by emailing them. There are differences between requirements for this intro day and the multi-day event. I'll be a little annoyed if I find I later need a 2kg one as this is why I phoned them.

That's probably it. Sorry if I misled anyone. It wasn't Peter that I spoke to and it may relate just tothe Ecolight Targa Tour. Heres a screen shot of the supplementary tour regulations for the Ecolight Tour

Can you let me know what you find out. I'd rather get a fire extinguisher big enough for the full tour in case I get hooked.
