Small world indeed Peter. I do know Grant. His wife is an old friend of my wife. Hes a pleasant guy.

Infact over the years I think Ive got to meet and know most of the Kiwi Rennlisters that regularly post on this board. Ive formed some strong friendships and its the camaraderie of the Porsche Marque here and globally that is one of the things that keeps me wandering elsewhere....

I recommend that everyone gets a timing app for the phones before the session if you don't have any device already. They're pretty accurate and will help you see your progress with Ray.

I've got the beers (regular & 2 stroke) plus some softs as well. Weather looks to be awesome but will be HOT. Looking forward to a great day!

He's got a silver 911 (I'm not very good with 911 models, but it's something relatively modern, i.e. 996/997). His name is Bruce and he's from Hamilton, he has an engineering company specialising in large trucks I believe. I don't know him all that well but he's a PCNZ member and has done a bit of track driving, so some of you may already know him. I mentioned the track day to him on Dec 1 and he just got back to me on the 11th. I told him to contact Tony but haven't heard anything more, so I guess we'll wait and see.

Bruce has confirmed he's registered, so it sounds like there'll be 11 tomorrow. A good number I think.

I was at HD today with a mate who was racing his bike and it was bloody hot! Hopefully it's a little cooler tomorrow, but I'll take too hot over rain any day

There were problems with the surface at turn 4 breaking up in the heat though, so the debris there is something to be careful of tomorrow.
