Dave, I'm always keen on a luftgekuhlt road trip buddy and my battery is always charged.
I really enjoyed the run yesterday. Early is better, like maybe even 5-6 am in the summer. Raglan is about a 5 hour turnaround so leave at 5 and home at 10 sounds great.
I'd quite like to go out to the end of the Manukau heads (south side) one day.

Speaking of battery chargers - where is the best place to go to get a trickle charger?

You need to print this comment out and put it on the beer fridge.

Agreed (6am), also keen on the Manukau heads too (I have never been, so good way to see the country)........

Edit - Scarlett's battery might be sorted by then?

Try and buy a 15inch something off Steve? He must have a one-off or pair of something that would be suitable.

CTEK seem to have the most ardent followers. Macca will know where you can buy them.

With the Turbo 3.6 I just used a Repco battery switch. Same thing we use on the 2kCup cars. Hasn't let me down yet with infrequent car use, no need to have the car next to a power point and no risk I'd drive off with the charger still connected.

I have the rim, was wondering weather you can still get a replacement tyre brand new.

This one is for Leong, Last stage of the rally, hot fine day and a flowing stage that is fast. Plenty of time spent at speed then approaching 55-65khp signed corners.

Co-driver Kim is speeding me up rather than calling hazards and warnings as he had on the previous 2 days in the rain.

I'd be keen on an early start to Raglan. Daylight is 14.5 hours long in December. If we start at 5am, I could carry on to Whangamomona, then back up to Auckland via Taumaranui. Maybe try for a 1,000km day. Go cars not show cars.
