Yep headers too, its a glorious sound!
I think Paul & I will sort someone from Giiltraps to help us play with a few settings trackside, having 4 identical cars (5 including Sam Hammond) should be fun!

It's a good idea in terms of resource sharing. I'd like to do the same some day but don't have the time on the ground, hence elected to remain stock for time being. Paul still has his fancy suspension to tweak with the DSC. I've removed mine time being until I can get some development time on it, actually hoping Pauls tweaking here will provide useful settings at HD. 8 months without having driven the car on a track will be the biggest challenge in Nov I suspect. Driver improvement more critical than car improvement at this juncture...

Just had a day in Chch over the weekend and saw quite a few Porsches on the road in a short space of time considering the weather. A 2010 GT3 with the plate 'NZ GT3', a beautiful looking red 993 turbo with no front plate. The plate on the back started with 'WG'. Also a blue 911 with the plate 'C4S993'.

Cheers guys.
John: I certainly hope so! Still hoping to make the Taupo day again this year.
Pel: All the best for your upcoming delivery, it's life-changing for sure.
Macca: Yep, only one flavour of Matchbox in our house
And the "My 1st Porsche" will get more of a hammering...
Paul: True, true. I've always thought 2 was the right number, and my partner has said "no more" anyway. At the moment I can't see how people with two kids have the time or energy to make any more!

Congratulations Michael!! We found time to make #3 many years ago now. We had 3 boys under 5 for a while. Wouldn't change it for the world.
Thinking of a weekend run up to the Cape and back this side of Christmas if you can sneak off but understand completely if you can't.
I've missed the last 2 track days due to other family priorities but are coming on the NITT and looking forward to a good air cooled show alongside Lola. Need to have a good face off with John to see if all his tricks have made Herman quicker. Both cars will be running on 2 working coils and we're left wondering how long the cars have been running like this.

I'm another of those weird guys that much rather prefer this format than FB. I don't post a hell of a lot, but when trying to follow technical discussions or research old solutions, FB is just interminably difficult. I hate to say it's for the younger generation of instant gratification and showing everyone what you had for breakfast - oops I just did. But yes, for getting info out there in a short time frame I suppose it has its merits.
I for one will be one of the last on here with Macca and Walter probably!
Michael - Ferry mate, Ferry!!

This battle has been raging so long I think you are now driving quite different cars than when you started it. I think we are all anxious for a final conclusion in November at NITT. no excuses either (unless its wet he he he).

LOL. Taupo's a huge track. I've set my PB in the 993 at NITT as I sure others have done too. I think you fellas just need to get out there and pedal faster ;-)
Edit: Ive just looked at the 23 car Taupo list and frankly there are only 3 cars I see out of 23 that may hold you up or be of similar pace to make passing difficult. Franz in his 3.2 and the two Cayman S. I guess Dave in the T might be equally paced but Im not sure. All else are GT3, race SC/944, 997TT or well driven 997s (Matt & Chris). Place yourself on Grid in front of the Cayman S and you shouldnt have any traffic holding you up for 10 laps
Those 964s should be good for at least a 1.22 at Manfield and 1.51 at Taupo with the barrier removed. No pressure...
