Yes. On the way to Highlands we could do Crown Range and then up towards the Matukituki and back before breakfast in Wanaka. From my experience getting to the top of the Crown Range at first light is glorious but a few of the boys may need to harden up to join us and beat the camper vans ha ha.

Ok let's go dawn raid Glenorchy, with cafe/breakfast stop rerun for the Sunday. Means plenty time to get the girls ready for lunch Gibbston Valley. Gary and Steve plus wives please join us for lunch if you will.
Doug I agree over the hill dawn run Mon is the way to go. Not sure we need to lead it on to Highlands as that starts mid day and not sure we will want to drive 6 hours before 4 on track and 1 home again. We can also do dawn rain Tuesday before tidying the houses and driving to Timaru?
Gary thanks so much for possible contact with hoist and P-car knowledge. I hope we don't need to call on you for this but nice to know the option may exist if needed etc....PS congrats on getting into another 993. Great car :-)

Liking the idea of sorties each free morning, and really looking forward to the SITT in general.
Phil - I thought you were a hardened boatie. Aren't you boaties up at sparrows fart to get to your destination before the wind gets up ?? :-P
Early starters can go on a little bit more past GY to Paradise.
