Thanks Paul. A great day, I stayed until the end and got in 7 runs. Good to see a few of the RSG crew out at HD. Cayman off for some more development, but consistently in to the 1:15's by the end of day with a best of 1:15.6

Wow, so there is pace in the Cayman? - I shall be moving over for you then
Another awesome track day in deed. Bit of an impromptu RSG meet too with a few guys there. Chris's Cayman is looking really sharp. I managed to pedal the 964 to a 1.20.9 (just got there) today, and my best yet. so pretty happy

Nathan did you go out on Z221s? I need to get back out there myself however Herman needs a gearbox refresh first. I think the fastest C4 is Steve R in Herman, a 1.19.57. I have yet to go sub 1.19.96. I think Doug is 1.20.07.

Great stuff Chris. What have you done with the Cayman so far? I assume lightened it a bit, put it on R comps and some suspension work? Is there a place for these in Porsche Series, would seem like a nice step between 944s and GT3s.

Gulp, the R is more powerful and has PDK so anything above 1.15 is underperformance

Great work Nathan. What rubber are you using? If road tyres then you should comfortably have a 1.19 flat on R comps. You have tipo right? Good to see these on the track. They are probably well suited with 3 gears (1st never needed) to keep you in the band. Are you manually shifting or auto?

Snap. This idea has legs if he's already faster than the 944s this early in the development.

Nathan, your time is quite an achievement for a tipo on road tyres?
I'd like to see you on some 221's, as you will show a clean pair of heels to any of the 964 times to date by the looks of it.
John, I managed to get into the high 14's this morning, so yes, given your car is of equal performance (maybe quicker?), you should be into the low 15's/high 14's............??

Nice to catchup today Nathan. Your car is looking great and you were going really well!
started track days using those ****ty nitto Invos at 1.25 when had my first training with RR.
down to 1.22 / 1.23 with the Z221's and now just hit the 1.20 mark (albeit at the top end of 1.20) after trying to improve lines, braking points and chasing fast guys like Steve R and Chris in his Cayman, also learning the car and learning the tiptronic (paddle shifters have made it awesome fun)

Was using Track addict app on my phone John, no AIM for me......so probably not comparable to you guys. I have been using it since the start of my tracking, so its good for me to measure improvements.
