I for one am in no mood to be punting my car into the gravel let alone a wall. Prudence is the word of the day for me and i feel no shame in not driving. That rain map looks appalling and if it comes to fruition i may take my cameera and spend more time taking photo's than driving. Besides, i have to keep Mr Black nice to tease out some of those English pounds that are being bandied about

I did suggest it via text but Doug has more sense than me, so rejected the idea.

I've had the Cayenne on a dry track ate Puke and it was pretty wicked but after going back to Prestigio a 2nd time to add the RS60 I don't want to back a third time. Besides too much weight and could get messy

A relevant note - for those talking about theoretical lap times (as I know they're all best guesses), it would be worth reviewing your insurance policy on timing...
I saw your car at Gillies this morning Jake - was looking really nice......

Yes, I suspect that the only Honda badge drivers could accept being passed by would need to be on the nose of an NSX. Better yet, the one that's out soon..

Paul - what a great line up and nice to see so many newbies. Don't think my car's gonna be ready but if it is I'll be sorely tempted to come out and play.

Just need a set of these: http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/50010019.html?Category_Code=9552S_Wheels

Just put the 930 on the scales at Rosedale tip, came in at 1260kg with just under 1/4 tank. So probably around the 1250 mark.

Not far off the weight that a NA of the same vintage has. Are you changing to the 996TT tomorrow? It looks too wet for a 930.

Doug and I have a gentlemens agreement to run the 964s and not incite each other, which will last as long as no-one overtakes.

Will wait and see what the rain radar says tomorrow but the 996tt is likely.

Good luck with the rain tomorrow. Bluebird conditions on the Tasman Glacier. Was hoping a flat six would take us up but had to resort to a round engine. You think tomorrow might be slippery, you should have seen the ski plane pilot dancing on the pedals when he landed.
