Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
I bet it's the exact same color & can. Definitely will do proper paint when I get the color right.
The color on Macca's is what I want - need to figure out a way to get a wheel like that staged on my car.
What I was going to ask Arrow to do was take my paint code and add dark until it looks right. It'll be $12-1400 to strip and repaint them, so I want it to look just right. I can then use that color for possibly accessorizing some other bits (thanks Paul).

It's my favourite Porsche trim. If the Orange T was going to be black inside, it was going to get a dose of Pasha trim too.
Macca: that's a great story. Appreciate the updates coming in, makes the whole donation exercise all that more tangible.
Paid a visit to OCD this evening after picking up my car from CCS (Dean/Ehrin have gone out of their way to help me out recently, is much appreciated). Chatted to Sam and Christian about the detailing work they were doing on a 996 Turbo, and was thoroughly impressed; both very passionate about what they're doing, and clearly make the effort to get the best result. The Turbo looked absolutely great. I also grabbed a bottle of Dragon's Breath Wheel Cleaner, anything that makes washing wheels that much easier has got to be a good thing.
Dave: completely agree. I'd be trying to talk you into selling me the SC on the seats alone if it wasn't for the existing queue at the door!

Could I ask a favour from the 944 group? I need the dimensions of the rear quarter window and the roof of the 944 S2. Can't seem to find them online and you may have to take a tape to your car if possible. Thanks in advance. I need them for ordering name and graphics for the race car. Cheers Neil
Question, what are people using to mount fixed back buckets in their 964's?
I have a sparco which im wanting in my car for the arrive & drive on 28th. The stock seating position is just waaay to high for me, and thats before I have even put my helmet on!
stock seat is electric. Have done a bit of reading and looks like I will need new seat rails for the bucket seat.......which actually suits me as I want to swap it out for daily driving in favour of the stock item.
Where have others got/brought/made seat rails?

Today it was raining so no cement works could proceed on house 2. Instead the boys just started bracing the timber framing on House 1.
"CK" (the little boy who appears in the picture) was following me around the building site. Rain had turned much of the ground soft. Just then, near CKs house out in the open I saw a little toy car in the dirt. I picked it up and low and behold look what I found! An old matchbox Porsche 928! It was a sign from above I tell you - I showed the building crew and told them the association with the generous donors who had made what they were building a reality (I told them these were people who love cars and driving that I knew all around the world). Here's a few pictures from today. You have to love chance and fate. How that little 928 toy got to the village and was lost on the building site I have no idea!!

could do with Warwicks detailing tho..
Jake, on a non-Porsche note. Were you bidding on a Zuiko lens on TM couple of nights ago? I saw your handle and thought i'd not get involved. Frankly i'm more interested in the 40-150 2.8. I have an OMD-EM1 what rig are you running?
Yes, that was me. At a low price point it would have been a novelty, but wasn't expecting much from the lens to be honest.
I've got the first gen EM5, and have the kit lens, plus a Panasonic 20mm 1.7 and a Voigtlander 25mm 0.95. Ideal for me would be adding the Olympus 45mm and 75mm lenses to the kit, but need to stop buying car parts first...

The new ACC levy bands are out http://www.acc.co.nz/PRD_EXT_CSMP/gr.../wpc137747.pdf
Porsches are not listed so we revert to the banded lists as follows:
1975 1995 L1 $158.46
1996 2000 L2 $123.46
2001 2008 L3 $103.46
2009 on L4 $68.46
Pre-1975 vehicles are classified as vintage/veteran vehicles and so are unbanded. The levy rates for vintage/veteran vehicles are $37.42 for petrol vehicles.
