John, I'm finally ordering the remote lock system for 964 from ToreB. Have you ever heard of a kit to auto release the front boot lid? I'm very spoiled with the Boxster's remote boot locks and putting damp gym gear into the boot in the rain at 7:30 in the morning would be so much nicer with a remote unlock mechanism.
I'm sure that it I was cleaverer I could find parts and build my own.

I do like driving down the road in a Saturday morning in the 964 after it's been locked up for a week and setting off a few car alarms as I go by. Satisfied the teenager still in me somewhere.

Doug if you hear of a remote unlock system for the good leg us know. I had never experienced it till the GT3 and wonder now how I ever lived without it!

Not the most exciting camera work given it's all static, but if anyone's interested it's there.
Thanks for that Matt, and good luck to you all.

Pete and Steve still circulating. Chris and Matt are out with another overheating problem. Where is Black Beauty when you need her?

Nice sequence there. Sorry to hear that Chris and Matt's run got cut short again. How did Pete and Steve end up?

The Enduro organisers do fun updates, but never seem to post the final full-field results. Figured out how to use Race Monitor to save a favorite so I can see the full field. Chris/Matt out after only 36 laps, damn! On the bright side it looks like Pete's car got down to 1:16.6 today and Chris's machine to 1:16.4. Very nice!

Regarding timing systems -- I love the analytics being discussed. It's just about time we see a new view into this dataset. With easily accessible components and the ability to crunch data in realtime we're on our way to a very interesting place. Forget driverless cars -- imagine the telemetry, temps, friction & accel/decel capabilities of the vehicle being rolled into something like a HUD arrow pointing in the direction you should be going and using something like color to indicate if you're too slow or too fast.

The fun I'm having is playing with the off the shelf components and seeing if I can come up with a reliable and repeatable combo that not only drops the hard data for those who want it, but also easy overlayed stuff for us to share and have fun with.

As a result of trying different things, I do have a few devices flying around that I now have no use for (Scantool Bluetooth OBD2 for Android, Kiwi Wifi OBD2, GoPro Hero3+ black (soon)). If anyone is interested in them just shout out.

Looking forward to karts tomorrow. Looks like damn near perfect weather!

My allotted arrival time is 1:15 and apparently I can expect to drive at 1:45.

I'll take the AIM Solo to see what the G forces are like. BTW Steve is going to get his kart going at HD so we can have some more fun. BB vs KT100?
