Under rule 40.13, which states that "if the race ends whilst the safety car is deployed it will enter the pitlane at the end of the last lap and the cars will take the chequered flag as normal without overtaking," Schumacher has been given a penalty.
The race was already hooooveeer .. hence the penalty ......

This can be debated ad nauseum.

Just try and think about this dispassionately.
Alonso saves 22 seconds by the dispatch of the safety car, passes 6 of the slowest cars, secures 12 positions through pit stops, and then benefits from another safety car to close up the gaps. Excellent drive, but eliminate the SC, deduct those 22 seconds and where would he have been?
Webber never puts a wheel wrong, drives away from everyone including his teammate and wins handily. Eliminate the SC and Webber would have won by 30 some seconds. At least an equal drive in my mind.

Kudos to the team for making such a brilliant call!

Not for nothing, but this whole "move over thing" is a little wierd. We're always taught that we should hold our line and let the passing car make the move. And I remember Berger at Monza once, with Ferrari, moving over to let his teamate Alessi through going into Ascari, only to take both of them out! At the time, it was labelled a typical novice error, that he moved over to let the passer through.

Alonso's Passes were VERY ballsy, especially his outside pass on Kovalainen which put him right over the bump coming out the tunnel.
Bummer he made that mistake in practice, and Alonso Webber fight would have been great to see.
Weber was a metronome....with a hammer on the end!
Schumacher could do nothing about Alonso for more than half the race, him taking the position like that was fully NOT deserved although I think correct action would have been to just put him back to 7th........HE WAS SEVENTH! ....SEVENTH

While the back markers didn't all move off line (they don't have to when fighting for position), I'm not quite sure how this translates into an incredible drive.
Seriously, is it really that awesome that FA was able to pull off passes on the likes of Lotus and HRT?
The real brilliance of Alonso's day came down to the early tire change, IMHO.

Thank god for Alonso and the safety car otherwise the race would have really been a snoozer!
How about those Mclaren boys though, leaving a radiator cover in place ?

And yes, I'll go anywhere for a pass. Just watch my video trying to pass Fred on the outside of the toe at the Glen (didn't exactly work out well though )
