I tend to not look at your pictures as they bore me. But let me get this straight...

Ferrari has a tradition of a clearly defined #1 and #2 driver for the past 15 years with the exception of 1/2 a year in 2007 when Kimi and Massa were fighting it out to see who would be on top.

You believe Fernando will come in for 2009 along side Kimi (see above and how two #1 drivers are not Ferrari's style).

Other option is Fernando is the #1 because Kimi hasn't done enough for Ferrari, only winning a world championship in his first year with them, Ferrari winning a constructors title, Kimi leading the WC points this year after 3 races, all without the complaining, whining or bitching, being a good teammate to his #2, not blackmailing the team, talking bad about the team in the media, etc. etc. I now can see clearly how Ferrari would want Fernando on their team

As Wayne stated, no one knows what kind of fuel loads they were running and when Rubens went fastest earlier this week, it was clear that either fuel loads or certain chassis were better suited to the superior mechanical grip offered by the slicks.
Sorry about the Planet-f1 thing, I just couldn't resist. But the R28 on slicks does show good promise. Let's see, Massa on Monday did his flying lap on slicks and was only 0.1 sec. faster than Alonso's 1.18.483 lap. So if Renault was 0.9 sec slower than Ferrari during winter tests, that means that with all the upgrades they may have potentially gained 0.8 sec. to the leading teams.

Unless, Hamilton takes out Alonso, the next race might bring a podium for Alonso.

I'm actively starting MY online political action committee to have Alonso remain at Renault and NOT go to Ferrari. As much as it pains me, I will have to pinch my nose and bear the fact that I will have to praise Alonso at every turn of the season to ensure he IS will Renault for 2009 and hopefully beyond.
The best thing for Alonso would be to stay at Renault although I'm certain he is looking for a more competitive seat. The days of top drivers signing on for the long run are over (unless they are already at the top team). Also, teams keeping drivers for better or worse for the long run is over. Team owners want results. Drivers want glory and they don't want to wait and earn it. However, I believe Alosno is a talent and it would build his character to stay and rebuild Renault.

Not since Michael retired. They seem to let the drivers race as long as they don't take each other out until one has a real chance of winning WDC and the other doesn't. Look at last year, Massa was allowed to race until it became clear that he no longer had a shot and Kimi did.

Ferrari let Kimi and Massa fight over the #1 until Massa was out of it. He then supported Kimi. Kimi is the favorite son and Massa has one foot out the door, it's pretty clear who Ferrari favors. At Bahrain, Massa had such a huge lead that even Ferrari couldn't switch the running order. Besides, Massa needed that for his confidence, unfortunately he is too inconsistant to keep that form for the entire year.

Did I mention that Kimi has never been caught with a hooker or **** attire. Maybe with a model that wasn't his wife outside a Milan nightclub, but never a prostitute.

kinda like your logic , I tend to look away myself .....

Time will tell who is right here , if Kimi does not win the WDC , we will see Alonso
at Ferrari , he is better than both Ferrari drivers currently and i do believe he already has a deal with Ferrari , hence the 1 yr deal at Renault .......

Wayne you ******. You're supposed to put *spoiler* or wait 24 hrs before posting racing results.

Want to bet that Alonso can't go more than 15 laps before refueling?

BTW it was still a great showing for Renault.

Yesterday in a donkey cart, today on top of the world, huh? What are you 16?

He's on fumes when he qualified. Don't hurt your shoulder pating yourself on the back.

BTW, MS nutswinger, nuthuggers, or whatever Wayne calls us unite!! There is a MS movie coming in the future. Group viewing, we'll tie Wayne up and take him with us for the premier!!

You really new professional counseling. Check your own posts, yesterday YOU posted he had a donkey cart. After getting a good night sleep at a Holiday Inn Express, by the miracle known as Alonso, he transformed his cart to an F1 front row contender? You are certifiable.

Good for you Wayne. May you feel good about this for about 24 hours. Tomorrow night you'll be prognosticating that Alonso is going to Ferrari after another 9th place finish.
