Regardless of the arcane specious bloviation and self-righteous preening done by a few in this thread, this thread continues to deliver!

Others who've encouraged you to "keep fighting" may share your indignation based on your version of events, and have perhaps been entertained by watching the fight, but they haven't paid the price you're paying. I and few others have tried to sincerely advise you to follow a course which would enable you to get back to racing AND avoid unnecessary harm to PCA, and have been attacked for doing so.

The whole situation is really sad. I feel bad for you, I feel bad for the people in PCA you've called out by name, and I feel bad for PCA.
Yes, indeed really sad when a guy torches himself on the internet and gets goaded on by his internet friends for the entertainment value.

So you think he was treated properly? As a valued customer? Apparently Matt D may not agree...

Todd: Is it denial for conduct unbecoming of a member?

Alex: YES! You’re now in the lead and the board is yours…

In all seriousness, this long ago stopped being about OSA and became about fighting for fair and transparent representation within PCA. Which sadly throughout this thread we have learned there is no chance of under the current regime.

THAT is a cause worth fighting for and I applaud Todd for standing up for himself and all the others who have been slighted by the feckless leadership of PCA.

I suspect this thread has opened the eyes of many people to see that the infighting they see in their own home region is just following the example of National. Maybe that’s not the case for everyone but it certainly is for me. Very sad.

What you see in PCA at the regional, zone, and national levels is typical of these types of social clubs. It's not a result of the particular people in various leadership positions, nor is it a result of a culture unique to PCA. You can swap out all of those people with people who you think are better, but eventually the social dynamics will be the same. So there's no "cause" here worth fighting for.

If someone wants to enjoy their PCA experience, try to get along with people, try to avoid interacting with disagreeable people, and don't overreact every time someone is mean to you. And if you're asked to provide CPAP data by a medical committee, for the purpose of medical clearance in order to renew your racing license, give them the data.
