Has it sold? Says it's still for sale on their site.

+1

Unless I am mis-remembering, it was listed at $799k. At that price, Black, low mileage, I'd expect it to already be under deposit... (Usually folks switch the price to "Call" or something to that fashion when it's under deposit.)

Curious, as well.

The asking price was $895K. I believe the $799K was Isringhausen's.

Default manual transmission premium

Just saw that a manual transmission 599 sold at auction for double what a paddle shift would! We're not the only ones that value manuals.

Indeed. Indeed.

The only thing, though, is that virtually no 599's came in manual... Whereas every CGT did.

Not disputing any values, just noting the crazy rarity of a manual 599.

599 F1's are selling below 150k.

My guess for well under 100k the F1's could be converted to manual vs GTO money.

A well priced 04 Silv Blk 7k mile - 650k.

Default RM Ville Erbe results

288 GTO $2m, F40 $1.1m, Enzo $1.4m, F50 $1.4m.(roughly) Looks like things are stabilizing? Maybe declining? Speculators out? Euro down? CGT prices now?

It's still hard for me think of a car with 15,000 miles as "high mileage", especially with the service that these cars receive. I guess I'm getting old and not part of the new throw-away society. ? I think it might be that we are getting used to upgrading every 6 months? (I have a box full of old computers, even though I thought the first one was crazy fast, 8086 and 2mhz, whew!) I refuse to upgrade any further. The CGT is it for me. Now we have cars that drive themselves? Crazy. Might as well as have a chair that shakes and you wear some kind of movie goggles that display the road and such. Oh, I'm being told we have that already too!

it's human nature unfort - cars with 300kms are usually in higher demand than those with 3,000 and so on

clearly a 300 mile cgt trades at a premium to one with 20,000 miles

IMHO, the CGT market just got ahead of itself over the last 6-9 months...My prediction is that the car will level off for some time while buyers and sellers get used to the new high water mark. I feel that sellers are currently asking prices that is ahead of the market and once the market settle a little bit, these higher asking prices may move down closer to the real market.

I have a couple of friends with CGT's and two of them are starting to talk about selling theirs...saw one last week and he said he is holding out to see if the market continues to rise before he brings it to market - we may see more cars come to market, especially after the summer.

My advice to them - Life is too short...enjoy the car!

Way more?

I doubt it - in fact I think it will be way less.

People aren't running out of money but they are running out of options for a rare drivers car.

There are very few - 599GTO has risen 250k in the last 6 months surpassed the F12 just like the CGT will soon pass the 918. Stradale zipped past the Scuderia and the Scuderia is now selling above the 458.

Raw exciting cars are far and few between - especially topless.

CGT - there is no replacement and that story is never going to change.

Polar Peter - Congrats!
